COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hopulent IPA is a big beer with lots of complex malt flavor and excessive hops. This beer will have changes to the grain bill and seasonal hop changes. The character of Hopulent IPA is over the top, too much of everything—a real HOP HEADS DELIGHT!

Christmas present deuce, release #52. Pour looked exactly like apple cider from a mill, hazy, dense light brown. Very thick eggshell head that was huge and settled to a quarter inch. Scent is subtle but what can be discerned is juicy citrus hops. Thick, frothy mouthfeel. Pretty evenly blended, a little more bitter than sweet. Bitter pine hop taste, not too strong though. Finish is more bitter an pretty dry. Good beer but nothing outstanding. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A nice hoppy aroma with plenty of citrus and pine with some faint floral notes. Mid to deep orange/ yellow hued body . The flavor was a small letdown for me, the malts were a bit to forward for my taste. Overall it was ok, but nothing i would try again.

On tap at Watering Hole late summer 2014. Served in a shaker half pint. Hazy orange with a modest off-white head. Nice lacing. Nice hop aromas of citrus, grapefruit and peach with some slight caramel malt present. Taste is well-balanced. Nice malt sweetness to hold up the hop overtones. Nice clean bitter finish that lingers.

Poured from bomber a medium deep orange, forming light beige head of foam. Aroma of hops, malts, and wet field grass. Flavour more malt oriented, some hop bitterness, softly carbonated. Decent DIPA, however not memorable.

This draft brew on nitro tap from a restaurant poured a medium sized head of foamy finely sized off-white colored bubbles that were very long lasting and left behind a uncarbonated transparent light yellow orange colored body and a creamy thick lacing. . The smooth crisp mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and at the finish with a lingering hoppy aftertaste. The smooth flavor contained notes of oak dry breads and hops. An OK brew just nothing special.

Tap at Sweet Peas. Hazy apricot with thin white lacing medium lacing. Caramel, tangerine, floral and grassy. Big sweetness with an equally bitter tangerine/melon aftertaste. Heavier body with a soapy feel.

Pours a hazy amber color with a nice head. Aroma has mostly tropical fruit with some lemon zest. Taste has some hops upfront then some tropical fruit and malts in the finish. Quick finish.

Bottle. Pours a dark gold with a off-white, mixed-grain, sticky and lacy head. Nose is lime, grapefruit, rose, and rosemary; quite pungent. Quite bitter on the front of the tongue, wlth lime and orange notes; there’s enough caramel malt to hold a balanced line, though, and the mouthfeel is quite soft and alluring. A little hot in the back of the throat. Finish is astringent and bitter, with a clean bite. A nice blend of aggressive and balanced.

On tap at Mr. Brews in Verona, WI, on nitro. I find the nitro makes beer almost too smooth and ruins the aroma somehow, but this is still good. Hazy copper, nice white head, floral aroma, yadda yadda yadda.
