Hopulent IPA is a big beer with lots of complex malt flavor and excessive hops. This beer will have changes to the grain bill and seasonal hop changes. The character of Hopulent IPA is over the top, too much of everything—a real HOP HEADS DELIGHT!

I feel a Trump card already. Although I over chilled it, it still threw up a one finger head that reduced slowly to a clump of cotton. Not much aromatically either. Full nectar like fat pulp with a heavy cream like carbonation. Oh this is decadent. A meal unto itself. A truckload of sharp jagged edged glass shards dumped into a pool of gelatin. This brew is amazingly balanced, a feat in itself. Only mildly sweet despite it’s opulent upbringing. So tasty! The hop component burrows in like weedgrass on a mountain side during a summer stroke. This brew feels obese on the tongue but lands on it’s feet in the end. TRUMP!

ok, if asked where on earth would be my least likely place to ever want to visit, it would probably be Utah........Utah and beer just do not belong in the same sentence....UNTIL NOW!!! This is an excellent IPA, (is this a double/imperial or is this just their ipa?)

UPDATED: MAR 23, 2013 Excessive hops is right! What a delicious beer for the HOP lovers out there. Pours cloudy and golden with an off white head. Smells of flowers and hops. Has a lot of character on the tongue with a fantastic hop punch that last long on the palate. Fantastic beer!

Solid ipa, alcohol well hidden behind piney citrus flavors. Strong hops usage, but not fruity as other ultra-premium ipas. One of epic’s best and worth a try.

Perfectly intense IPA. Not overpowering. Refreshing with a lot of flavour. I thoroughly enjoy the large Epic bottles.. Good to share with friends or consume by yourself..

(Release #13; 8.6% ABV) This starts off with an amazingly delicious hop aroma, with strong pine notes. Pours a clear light amber, with a full white head that leaves good lacing on the sides of the glass. Nice balance, even with the strong hop presence. There’s a nice blast of hops, then it fades to showcase the malts, and finishes with a long bitter finish. This is a good IIPA, and I’m glad that Epic made it to Cleveland.

Oooooh yeah boyeeeeeee double IPAs! This poured an orange color with a white head. The aroma is very piney with some oranges, lemons, apricots even, and some perfume too. The flavor is very bitter with some lemons and oranges. There is a good malt presence to counteract the bitter. Overall a damn fine IIPA!

22 oz. bottle from Total Wine in Chesapeake, VA (Release 14 bottled March 21, 2011, 8.6% ABV). Murky yellowish-orange pour with a creamy off-white head. Aroma of pineapple, mango, tangerine, and pineapple. Juicy citrus hop flavor of orange, pineapple, and grapefruit with just enough sweetness to not completely overwhelm the palate. An outstanding DIPA.
