This tawny-orange ale immediately assults the senses with the character of hops from the Pacific Northwest. An aroma that combines grapefruit pith and pine resin foreshadows a strongly bitter beer. The flavor is spicy and juicy with citrus dominating over honey and floral notes, then giving way to a dry, chalky bitterness. The almost sweet finish is accentuated by the strength of the alcohol.

From a bomber in a pint glass, large off-white head slightly hazy with a few bits of debris, golden yellow color with light brown also. Very fresh hop aroma, there is lots of the pine and tropical fruit mixed with kush. Extremely smooth beer, tiny little carbonation bubbles, immediate and lingering bitterness matched by a slight sweetness. Really pretty light beer for this high of alcohol. This one is a palate killer, with a hop bill and schedule to envy for many breweries. The one glaring complaint is unbalanced nature of this beer, which seems to be more pronounced in the tops IIPAís.

On tap at Lucky Pie Lodo. Pour is hazy orange with a frothy white head and great lacing. Big caramel, goopy, vanilla cake, grassy, doughy, somewhat floral, orange peel, and bready aroma. Taste is huge bitter hops upfront - grassy, grapefruity, earthy, and spicy - with a big malt backbone - caramelly bready, and doughy - ending with a harsh bitterness. Sticky mouthfeel with high carbonation. Not bad, but pretty unbalanced.

Bottle. Hazy gold. Aroma of earth, resinous hops, citrus, caramel, raisin. Taste is a touch yeasty, blasting citrus zest, fruity and caramel malt. Dry finish. Cereal coating on the tongue.

Poured from 22 oz. bottle. Lightly hazy, golden amber with a 2-finger off-white head and that leaves rings of excellent lacing. Aroma of caramel, citrus (especially orange) and other hops. Taste of grapefruit, orange, cream soda, bread, caramel and more bitter hops. Medium body and medium carbonization. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bomber: wonderful, floral aroma. Excessive head tops a lightly hazed, wild honey orange beer. The flavor is harshly bitter and the alcohol is warm with a bite. I could smell this all day long but a big bottle is a lot to swallow. ~m --RaucusBacchus

Release 27 9.4% ABV. Orange tinged honey color complements a layering of hops flavor. Citrus competes with resin while malt flavor exceeds sweetness resulting in a fairly complex beer with racy bitterness.

Bomber from Beverages for Less in Santee, CA. Faint print: Release 26/9.5%. Pours translucent gold with a creamy off-white head. Aroma is fresh fruit and citrus. Med body, about. Flavor is very bitter. Grapefruit rind. Could also be floral and resin. Itís mouth smashing hoppy. Mild hop burn which builds with time. Heatís not an issue, but you can find it. Pretty strong flavors.

Out of a bomber, release 22. Aroma is floral, citrus, and a tiny sugary sweet scent. Flavor is floral, citrus, grapefruit, and a nice English malt also. Very nice and bitter!! Very good, I just recommend you get this the freshest you can, Iíve had an old bottle and its was not very good.

22oz bottle pours a golden color with a small amount of head. Citrus and hop flavors. The hops linger on on more of an English hop profile.
