4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: FEB 20, 2013 Release #16, brewed nearly a year ago. Pours cloudy orange color with a thick pillowy head that fades very slowly. Aroma is a nice mixture of hops and malt. Getting lots of pine, grapefruit and peaches mixed with some malt. Taste is very nice, good mix of pine, citrus fruit, and peaches. Lots of body to hold up the hops. Mild bitterness. Finish is very smooth and a bit creamy, some honey comes through too. A very well made DIPA that I will definitely drink again. Would like to try again when its very fresh. Re-rate 2/20/13 with release #22, Nov 2012 bottle. I will keep the rating the same. Peaches seem to be more present in the fresh version and itís very creamy. I like this beer.
