COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer is very popular! Extremely complex and strong at 7.1% ABV. This beer is well balanced between the caramel-malt driven profile and the dry, supporting hops. Look for hints of dark bread and a slight fig or raisin taste all backed by a strong resin, but not overwhelming hop presence.

(Bottle) Pours deep dark reddish brown with a creamy, , sand coloured head. The aroma holds frozen strawberries, pineapple juice, grapefruit, pine, herbs, resin, wood, fairly deep caramel, grainy bread and cookies. The flavor is light sweet, medium bitter and light acidic with notes of a fresh hop profile alongside a balanced and somewhat deep malt profile. The mouthfeel is clean and round with a light to medium carbonation. Balanced and tasty finish. Medium bodied.

bottle-pours dark deep red with a soapy eggshell head. nice nose-resinous hops, big dark fruits (figs, plums), earthy notes, slight metallic notes. flavors of earthy hops, lite resin, rasins, grapes, plums, with some earthy alcohol on the finish. not overly the top with aclohol but it is there. long sweet fruity finish after the alcohol fades. this is a pretty decent beer and it has aged well. Im pretty impressed. I need to have this fresh on tap sometime.

22 oz. bottle (release #9) from Plaza Liquors - Pours a hazy brown color with a one finger thick light tan head. Light spotty lacing. Aroma is floral hops and toasted malt. Flavor is pine and floral hops, esters, and toasted caramel malt. The piney hops linger in the finish. Medium to full body. A good beer.

22oz bottle, release #20, 8.7% ABV. Hazy dark red color. Good one-finger khaki / light tan head, leaves good lace. Awesome smooth and creamy texture. Light smooth carbonation. Bigger body, but no stickiness in the finish. Very enjoyable to drink. Great tropical fruit and spicy hop flavor. Taste is moderate bitter, and light spiciness from the hops. Very hoppy. Like a DIPA, basically, but with more character. Really great, tasty, easy to drink stuff. Will be recommending.

Fiery burnt tangerine, auburn, and crimson pour with a small eggshell head. Nice mix of bright floral hops and gooey caramel malt. Get the citrus pith, rind, and pulp in this along with slight pine presence. Honey, toffee, and brown sugar balance out nicely.

Release #7. Pours a dark amber, murky with a red tint, lots of floaters. The head is creamy tan which covers the beer throughout and laces nicely. It has a wonderful crisp pine hop aroma but the flavor is quite different. A ton of malt up front, sweet with caramel and molasses. The hops come on later and balance the beer very well. Very good.

Bomber to oversized snifter (release #17, shared with the Mrs.; thanks douglas88). Looks good; an opaque amber with off-white lacing. Smells of bitter hops and semi-sweet malt; a little boozy too. Tastes like it smells with an average mouthfeel. Good beer.
