This beer is very popular! Extremely complex and strong at 7.1% ABV. This beer is well balanced between the caramel-malt driven profile and the dry, supporting hops. Look for hints of dark bread and a slight fig or raisin taste all backed by a strong resin, but not overwhelming hop presence.

Begins with a punch of pine hops, that fades into a caramel aroma. Pours a dark red, that can be seen through when held up to the light, with a lasting white head. Dark fruit notes come forward in this beer, with support from the malts. It ends in a roasted finish, with hints of bitterness coming through. Very interesting Imperial Red, although I don’t know if I’d say it’s extremely strong at 8% ABV.

Poured from 22 oz. bottle. Hazy, reddish brown with a small khaki head and good lacing. Aroma of toast, caramel, dried fruit and pine. Taste of herbal spices, toffee, toasted malt, plums, currants, graham crackers, dried fruit and pine. Complex and interesting. Medium/full body and high/medium carbonization.
