Tap @ the brewery tap room. Pours a pitch black with a small, creamy beige head on top. Aroma of coffee, booze, molasses and roast. Flavour is very bitter and well carbonated, with a sticky, sugary mouthfeel. Medium long finish, sweet and sticky. Very nice brew.

Bottle from Utah Liquor Store. Pours black with a thin khaki head. Lots of licorice and hops on the nose. Lots of hoppiness underneath all that roasted malt. Finishes lingers a bit. Solid.

Pitch black with a dark brown head and carbonation along the glass and no lacing. Nose is mainly chocolate, cocoa, vanilla, licorice, roasted barley and malts. Flavor is likewise the same with a slight boozy flavor. Body is fairly light and the carbonation starts out strong but tapers off after a few minutes. Good tasting Imperial Stout overall.

22. Pours jet black with a dense and creamy dark tan head. Sweet and roasty nose; showing anise and a bit of soy sauce along with some milk chocolate. Creamy thickish body with soft carb. Roasty dark chocolate mid palate with a bit of good coffee. Salty and anise notes fade a bit compared to the nose. Long coffee finish. Nice impy.

Bottle: The aroma consists of moderate dark chocolate, roasted malt, coffee, and light vanilla.
