COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An American Wheat Beer, no banana or clove in this one: highly drinkable, unfiltered, “session-able.” Easy to drink, nice zest and lemon citrus flavors and aromas from the hops balanced with slight malt sweetness and just a wee bit kick of sour from the wheat. Even if you are “over training school wheat beers” this Wheat is one not to be missed and weighs in with some real kick at 5.0% alcohol by volume.

Tap at Yona Yona BK. Really cloudy, milky looking. Looks like tea. Aroma and taste are pretty bland. Light wheat and little bit of citrus. Metallic. I don’t get it.

On tap at the Denver location. Pour is slightly hazy golden orange with a frothy white head and great lacing. Lemony, grainy, wheaty, straw, somewhat herbal, and doughy aroma. Taste is biscuit, cracker, lightly citrusy, grassy, and wheaty with a lightly tart finish. Medium body with crisp carbonation. No Sunshine, but decent wheat for sure.

On tap at Vine Cottage, ordered by my wife. Pours hazy gold with white head. Nose is yeast, spice, hops. Flavor is malt, bready, spicy. Decent wheat beer.

Bottle from Utah Liquor Store. Pours golden with a thin white head. Nice citrus notes of the tongue. Has a touch of citrus sourness on the tongue. Finishes clean. Boring style but this is pretty nice.

Tart, tangy - both in flavor and aroma. Floral and fruity. Decent. Pastry notes. O.H.S.O. Eatery & NanoBrewery, on tap.

Green apple/lemon aroma. Lemon/orange citrus flavor, with an herbal flavor (hops?). Really light sweet, bready malt.

Pours a golden orangish yellow with a big white head. Aroma is wheat and malts. The thing I hate about wheat beers is that they are inconsistent and they go bad fairly quickly. Unfortunately I think that’s the case here. It tastes like an old wheat beer, which means it’s gross and skunky. Sour wheat a lemon mostly in the taste. Gross.

Bottle. Pours a hazy golden color with a thick white head. Slight bit of a floral note to the nose, though it’s not strong. Light and easy on the palate, with just a faint hint of bitterness underlying a smooth finish.

Murky light honey pour with a solid ivory head that left some lacing. Aroma of cracked wheat, yeast, dough, and tropical fruit. Subtle mango, papaya, and guava accompany lemon grass, dusty hay, dough, and yeast. Definitely fruity notes in the flavor. Everything subtle and nothing off-putting. Decent for the style.
