COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An American Wheat Beer, no banana or clove in this one: highly drinkable, unfiltered, “session-able.” Easy to drink, nice zest and lemon citrus flavors and aromas from the hops balanced with slight malt sweetness and just a wee bit kick of sour from the wheat. Even if you are “over training school wheat beers” this Wheat is one not to be missed and weighs in with some real kick at 5.0% alcohol by volume.

Cloudy dark golden with a foamy white head. Quiet but stern wheaty aroma with a quiet toasty tone. Full wheaty flavor with some toast and semisweetness. Kinda inside the lines but really well made. Sessionable and fun to drink wheat ale.

10 oz pour on tap at the brewery. Orange and opaque appearance with a white head and light lacing. Aroma of orange peel, lemons, lightly breaded malts and light hops. Similar flavor, crisp and zesty with light to mild bitterness. Light to medium body with ample carbonation and a pleasant finish. Solid wheat beer.

10 oz at the brewery. Pours a cloudy yellow with a white head. Definitely looks like a wheat beer. Aroma is very lemony with wheat. I hate to describe a wheat beer as smelling and tasting like wheat, but that is honestly the best descriptor for this one. There are no frills like esters or hops here, just straight up wheat with a tart citrus bite. Yea, it’s a basic wheat beer, but there are no flaws and nothing that would make me turn up my nose. I would consider reaching for one of these again on another 95 degree day.

Aroma of wheat malt and grain, slight citrus note. Decent golden pour with a moderate white head that is quickly gone. Taste is medium sweet, lightly bitter, refreshing lemony tang. Light to medium body, slick texture, average carbonation, and sweet, malty finish. This is a decent American wheat beer, nothing special but good for sessions and highly quaffable.

Tap at Yona Yona BK. Really cloudy, milky looking. Looks like tea. Aroma and taste are pretty bland. Light wheat and little bit of citrus. Metallic. I don’t get it.

On tap at the Denver location. Pour is slightly hazy golden orange with a frothy white head and great lacing. Lemony, grainy, wheaty, straw, somewhat herbal, and doughy aroma. Taste is biscuit, cracker, lightly citrusy, grassy, and wheaty with a lightly tart finish. Medium body with crisp carbonation. No Sunshine, but decent wheat for sure.

From a bottle at the Epic Brewery Annex in SLC UT. Pours a hazy gold with an off white head. Light bodied, moderate carbonation, crisp finish.
