Bottle from Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours clear blonde with a two finger white head and a light floral aroma. There is a bitter light malt flavor with a chalky finish. Too bitter for a blonde ale.

500 ml from Bruisin Ales. Orange body. Nice aroma. Lightly hopped. After reading label, not really sure what the collaboration is.

500 ml bottle. Pours a clear orange-gold with a small, uneven white head. Aroma of pale malts, crackers, toasted sugar, and herbal and grassy hops. The flavor is bitter grassy hops, some soap, minerals, and pale malts- something seemed off, based on what I experienced in the aroma. Light-bodied, with a crisp, dry mouthfeel with high carbonation and a mineral finish. Could be better, but not bad for an easy sipper, and solid for the style. Honestly- and this may be unfair- I thought this would have a much bigger hop character.

Bottle poured a clear gold with a small lasting white head. Aromas of biscuit, earthiness, skunk bud, pine and grapefruit zest. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of biscuit, earthines and light pinbe with a crisp dry lingering modeatly bitter finish.

It pours a clear, bubbly gold with a creamy white head. The smell is decent some citrus but some muddled malts. The flavor is okay. It tastes like a mash up. Some nice lemony bitterness, some herbal character, but the malt bill is pretty crappy. It tastes like a run of the ill pale ale. I guess that might be expected.

500 ml bottle. A clear golden pour that has lots of very active carbonation rising. A gold tinted fluffy head leaves some lacing. The nose is grain and soft fruit. The hops are tasted first and they are floral and citrus. There is also some grass. Light bitterness comes through. A bit of biscuit. This is nice light drinking.

Just going to come off looking like an arse on this one but, with all the hype behind it and with regards to the joint collaboration of some 40 odd breweries going into it I do plead ignorance for not knowing the complete story. So rating from a purely beer loving perspective, f*%k was this a.....
Pours a bright orange tinged gold, thin looking, and very sparsely beaded. Shortlived fluff, just off white, the pour was less than lifeless. No more than a ring on the meniscus to dwell, no lace. Pronounced honeydew at first on the nose, then its all raw lemongrass, truckloads of bamboo, treated plywood, toothpicks and swamp-bound, musty weeds. Obscenely dry in the mouth, unbalanced from get-go. Piney, resinous, lots of straw, toothpick, and that bamboo I’ve never seen before in a beer. Acrid, metallic, sharp and almost acidic finish that lingers far too long. Faint bubblegum, rubber bands, ugh, Play-doh, f**kin’ ’ell! Sadly my partner couldn’t quite grasp it and sided for goon instead. (50cL, no date stamp, Cellarbrations Carlisle)
