COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A perfect beverage to relax with after a long day on the slopes, this extremely pleasant to drink ale has very minimal hop addition. The delicate Mt. Hood hops give it a smooth body with a bit of nuttiness and a slightly sweet malt at the end. This sessionable ale has some wonderful vanilla and honey notes that are well balanced throughout the drink.

(trade w/Douglas88) - Release #8 - Small head. Rust color like a bucket of water that sat out all winter long. Slightly hoppy aroma. Flavor well balanced between hops and malty character. Normal body. A good solid mild ale that I wouldnít have tried except for getting it as an extra in a trade!!

Bottle - release #12. Cloudy orange-amber. Short, foamy white head. Aroma is floral hops, soft citrus, light grains, tea leaves and toasted malt. Taste is sweet with caramel, tea leaves, toasted malt, citrus notes, floral hops, light lemon, and soft earthiness. Body is medium with a soft, bubbly carbonation. Ends with more caramel, sweet malt, lemon, light iced tea notes, and floral hops.

Amber pour. Aroma is really muted but I get some nice cashew, almond, light hops, crackers. Flavor is so smooth. Roasted nuts, light hop essence. Nice and easy to drink!

Bomber from Samís, Durham. Nice amber pour, fluffy, light, and moderately sedimental. Looks organic and fresh. Nice soft nose of tea and bitter hops, with ample caramel malts backing. Body is nicely creamy. Flavors isnít quite as bitter as expected from the nose, but the balance between sharp tea and deep malts is a pleasant one. Nice beer, would certainly go for this on tap.

Crisp deep copper coloured body with a peach glow and a thick, dense, three centimetre tall tan head - this is much more like an IPA or an APA in terms of appearance than any mild Iíve ever had. Aroma of malt, yeast, bread, bananas, a touch of hops and more malt. Medium-bodied; Sharp malty flavour with some yeast notes, a little light spices and a good herbal and almost mineral taste. Aftertaste shows a bit of a simplistic vibe - the herbal and light malt notes are evident, and very little else. Overall, a decent beer - different than most milds Iíve had, and refreshingly easy to drink, given itís large format. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Total Wine in Alexandria, Virginia on 09-October-2011 for US$3.99 sampled at home in Washington on 06-November-2011. Release #6, at 5.0% abv

Pours hazy amber with two fingers of white head. Nose is very bready with lots of toasted and biscuity notes, a light malt sweetness, and some grassy hops. Very similar flavor, bread and biscuits big time. Medium body, nice.
