A perfect beverage to relax with after a long day on the slopes, this extremely pleasant to drink ale has very minimal hop addition. The delicate Mt. Hood hops give it a smooth body with a bit of nuttiness and a slightly sweet malt at the end. This sessionable ale has some wonderful vanilla and honey notes that are well balanced throughout the drink.

Poured from 22 oz. bottle. Hazy brownish orange with 2 finger head that quickly settled to a thin film with excellent lacing. Subtle aroma of bready malts and caramel. Taste is bready and nutty with a little floral bitter hops. There is an unpleasant flavor in the finish that I can't quite place--like bitter butter maybe. Mouthfeel is medium light with foamy carbonation. I'm not a fan of pale milds, but I found the taste of this one particularly unimpressive. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: JAN 1, 2014 Tap. Clear golden pour with a smaller white head. Nose is herbal, sweet, and I’m reminded of bug spray a bit. Medium to lighter palate. Taste is mild, some grass, and honey. Decent.

(trade w/Douglas88) - Release #8 - Small head. Rust color like a bucket of water that sat out all winter long. Slightly hoppy aroma. Flavor well balanced between hops and malty character. Normal body. A good solid mild ale that I wouldn’t have tried except for getting it as an extra in a trade!!

Bomber from Sam’s, Durham. Nice amber pour, fluffy, light, and moderately sedimental. Looks organic and fresh. Nice soft nose of tea and bitter hops, with ample caramel malts backing. Body is nicely creamy. Flavors isn’t quite as bitter as expected from the nose, but the balance between sharp tea and deep malts is a pleasant one. Nice beer, would certainly go for this on tap.
