From a 22-oz bottle as Hometown Pizza in McCall, ID, this poured s dark gold with a robust off-white head and light lacing. Nose of caramel malts and floral hops. Medium in body. Smooth mouthfeel. Flavor is tasty and with some nuts. Light bitter finish. Tasty and goes good with the pizza.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
22 ounce bottle from Beer Run in Charlottesville, VA, opened 3/28/11. Pours a clear copper color with a medium tan creamy head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of toasted malts, caramel and very faint stone fruits. The taste is bready notes, toasted malts, plums and other fruits, caramel. Medium bodied. The ABV isn’t what I’d call a mild ale, but its still a pretty nice beer.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Release # 3. Pours clear amber with a quick fluffy white head. Aroma is grassy hay malt with what I will call subtle apple scents. Taste is nice caramel malt and a crazy chocolate vanilla taste in the background along with some pepper. Palate is slick and chaulky with a nice dry finish. Solid tasty brew with no hoppiness.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle: Pours an amber color with a nice head. The nose is malty with light crisp hop note. Tastes amberish and kind of bland frankly with a "mild" mouthfeel, not much for roast or malt, or maltiness in general. The hops are the only addition that do this any justice.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Interesting beer that i enjoyed very much. Brown color with little to no head or carbonation. Malty taste and good mouthfeel. I will surely check out this style again and this beer if i can find it. Would be interested to see how it would taste with nitrous.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bomber from release #3. Orange color with some small straw yellow highlights. A small white head was present upon pouring, but it quickly faded after a couple of moments. Lightly fruity aroma with some apple juice, caramel, and a nice dose of honey. Taste is light some fruit, toast, with a slight crisp, semi-dry finish. I’m not picking up on any of the nuttiness that this beer supposedly has. Maybe that’s what is missing to me mid-palate.
