Sep 20, 2009 Medium head amber pour good carbonation,aroma hoppy goodness,fruity,passionfruit,citric,malt,sugar sweetness,flavour passionfruit,peel of citrus,grapefruit like,clear fresh tastes,nice fizz,the bitter tends toward tart but is still good,tooffee hints,very bright tasting all the way,finish hoppy first and bitter,malt touch,very nice indeed.

Sep 13, 2009 Bottle from Duffman. Amber with. Thin skiff. Nice moderate woody hop nose. Delicious hop flavour. Makes you want to keep drinking. Very good woody hop flavour. Delicate malt just enough to carry the hops along.

Sep 12, 2009 Aroma is wonderful with fresh green hops, I am guessing that these hops are picked earlier than in many other beers to create this aroma. Pours with beautiful off white head which lasts. Flavour is exceptional with grassy bitterness and long lasting dry finish.
Possibly the best A.P.A I have ever tasted.

Sep 11, 2009 Big hoppy pale ale. Very true to the APA style. Lots of citrus, pine and flowers but with enough backbone to keep it in check. Medium to full bodied. A delight to drink.

Sep 7, 2009 Bottle 500ml. Fantastic beer. Powerful aroma of herbs, and also malt. Flavour is nicely balanced sweet and bitter, with long finish. Amber colour, with a stable medium-size head. Medium body with not too much carbonation.

Sep 1, 2009 A Mes rate. Bottle at home.
Clean gold with a thin white head. Big fruity and bitter. Incredibly chewy and tasty. Slight mineral and sour notes. Fantastic bitter finish with great length from the Nelson Sauvin. Brilliant.

Aug 30, 2009 Just a touch too much on the high powered hops side for my liking but the class in this beer is evident. Lots of citrus and grapefruit with a darker, bitter edge. The nose is actually quite soft and delicate with sweet passionfruit but the beer is much more serious to taste. Plenty of fizz here but probably appropriate to take the sting out of the hops and bitterness. Finish is bitter, dry, and almost a touch peppery. Stands up well on the world stage.
