Commercial Description:
You can only drink so many beers in a lifetime, so you better make each one count. That's where we can help. Because at Epic we're obsessed with creating big hop-fuelled beers. This takes a shed-load of skill. It also takes a shed-load of hops. In fact there are 15 crammed into this bottle. Many brewers would call that insane. We call it flavour.

copper orange with small head. Citrus, grapefruit notes to the nose. Flavour initially malty which finishes with lots of crisp grapefruit bitterness.

Clear orangey golden body with large white head. Passionfruit, grapefruit and citrus notes on the aroma. Taste is fairly similar, plenty of bitterness but in a good way with the malts just supporting this beer. Very drinkable.

classy beer, 15 kinds of hops huh? Aroma is great, hoppy and sweet. Flavour is also good, biscuity malts that are covered with some delicate hops. Was expecting a sledgehammer of a beer but it has impeccable balance.

Bottle at home. Amber orange with a white head. Good body and smooth carbonation. Juicey malt and refreshing piney citrus hops. The best beer that I’ve tried from down under.

On tap and from bottle. A deep amber-orange. Has a wonderful citrusy aroma and flavour. orange peel hop dominates. one of my favourite brews and one of the first NZ craft beers I ever tried. I call it "my old friend whom I don’t visit often enough", because I am constantly passing over it in favour of something I haven’t tried before.

Bottle at The Spotify tasting. Yes, certainly hoppier than on cask, but it then lacks a bit of body too. Yes it is hoppy and enjoyably but still not living up to its hype. Touch of rose petal flavour.
