COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
You can only drink so many beers in a lifetime, so you better make each one count. Thatís where we can help. Because at Epic weíre obsessed with creating big hop-fuelled beers. This takes a shed-load of skill. It also takes a shed-load of hops. In fact there are 15 crammed into this bottle. Many brewers would call that insane. We call it flavour.

500mL bottle, enjoyed immediately after purchase, pours a clear copper / bronze with a small off-white head. Aroma of floral hops predominantly, grass, a bit of citrus and a crackery malt backing. Flavour brings out dry notes of grassy and floral hops, citrus and a substantial crackery / biscuity malt backing. Quite a dry, monolithic palate, with not much character. Iím not sure how fresh this is, as there is no bottle date, but seems it could be fresher. Decent pale ale, but nothing overly interesting.

Very hoppy ale, not the best gateway beer for Tui drinkers, as the hoppiness will probably overpower them (my experience when attempting to bring my bro over to the dark side) but for me I love it! Very summer-drinkable, strong in the mouth with a dry finish.

Heard about the beer from Can You Brew It. Glad to pick it up. Slight floral, bready aroma with subtle grapefruit on the tail end. Tastes of bready, biscuity, slight caramel and balanced with generous amount of hop flavor. Very balanced bitterness. Quite tasty. I'd pick it up again.

This was my xmas pick of the beers. It was a great PA, good hop presence, nicely balanced and finishes well. Lacks the punch of a great PA but very sessionable.

Iím probably being unfair with this beer. I did not get a fresh version of this, in fact, it is no longer distributed to KS and I may have gotten one of the last available in my area. Stale bread, a mild funk, and whatever crispness there may have been in the hops is more or less gone. Would love to try a fresh version of this in the future. Come back to KS!

Wonderful aroma of dessert wine. Now I know what kind of hops gives out this delicious bouquet of ice wine: itís one of the 15. The appearance is nice for a pale ale, coppery, a bit turbid, with a clean, white, persistant head. Flavours of grapes, grapefruit and peach, unfortunately all flatenned on top of each other. The beer loses in complexity. Palate is not too resinous. Great to have, but this would not be the first choice.

16.9 oz bottle. Clear copper with white froth. Nose is orange juice, peach and lemon tea. Crisp with sharp carb; juicy then dry and resiny. Taste is orange peel, lemon candy and kiwi. Soft lingering bitterness.

UPDATED: OCT 22, 2012 Bottle from Mane Liqour. Review from a while ago forgot to upload. Aroma is wonderful with lots of fresh hops and citrus fruits. Pours with beautiful off white head which lasts. Flavour is fantastic with grapefruit, hints of passionfruit, blood orange combing with a subtle malt backing and nice crisp bitter finish. Awesome pale ale one the best

A - Pours a fairly clear golden-orange color with a finger of frothy white head. The head fades down at a normal pace leaving behind some lacing. S - Aroma is a mix of sweet caramel malts with pineapple, grapefruit, mango, and spicy hops. T - Starts off with a mix of sweet caramel malts with pineapple, grapefruit, and mango hops with some bitterness. Through the middle, some spicy and floral hops come through with some more bitterness and a touch of biscuit malt. The finish is a mix of tropical and spicy hops with some bitterness and some sweet lightly bready malts and a bit of pepper. M - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Feels smooth with a dry and bitter finish. D - Very drinkable. Nice balanced APA with a good hop profile and bitterness.

8/22/12. Bomber-ish bottle from Grassroots. Clear dark golden apple juice pour with a small khaki head. Spicy, floral, and lightly citrus aroma with an earthy caramel aspect. Light hop bitterness with tea and lemon along with some pine. Not sure about the hubbub but not bad.
