Commercial Description:
You can only drink so many beers in a lifetime, so you better make each one count. That's where we can help. Because at Epic we're obsessed with creating big hop-fuelled beers. This takes a shed-load of skill. It also takes a shed-load of hops. In fact there are 15 crammed into this bottle. Many brewers would call that insane. We call it flavour.

Wow, hoppy indeed! Aromas are dominated by a citrus rind hop, although some sweet malt, vanilla and floral notes show through. Flavours are of a zesty, grassy hops with grapefruit and a lemon rind bitterness. Finishes dry and zesty. Awesome!

Loved this beer. Meet the brewer Luke at the Auckland Food Show. The beer tasted devine. The hops were amazing and its the closest beer to what I drink at home in Portland, OR. Luke you are a great brewer and I wish you every success in the future. Every Kiwi should try this beer.

Tried on tap, smells divine almost like citrus fruit followed by an almost grainy palate but with good mouth feel and quite bitter in the end

grapefruit and orange aroma. Clear dark golden; disappearing white head. Citrus and rose-water flavours, with a hint of caramel. Crisp finish, with a firm bitterness, but also a lingering marmalade-esque sweetness.

On tap at the Malthouse. Pours clear orange/brown with meduim head. Aroma is stronge grapefruit, rose petal with some fruity esters.Classic USA cascade hop qualities. Grapefruit, rose petal hop flavour balanced with a clean crystal/caramalt background finishing with a clean bitterness. Overall a good beer, a slight increase in bitterness would make it very good. Well brewed with no technical faults.

33 cL bottle. Pours clear golden orange with a lacing white head. Crisp citrusy and mild peachy hops aroma. Light citrusy initially in the flavour with a light bitterness mixed with a mild sweetness. Light fruity and bitter finish.
