COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
You can only drink so many beers in a lifetime, so you better make each one count. That’s where we can help. Because at Epic we’re obsessed with creating big hop-fuelled beers. This takes a shed-load of skill. It also takes a shed-load of hops. In fact there are 15 crammed into this bottle. Many brewers would call that insane. We call it flavour.

Aroma is wonderful with fresh green hops, I am guessing that these hops are picked earlier than in many other beers to create this aroma. Pours with beautiful off white head which lasts. Flavour is exceptional with grassy bitterness and long lasting dry finish. Possibly the best A.P.A I have ever tasted.

Friggin tasty beer great pour and head. Very tasty hops with sweet taste of citrus, need to buy more of these.

Yep, much the way I rated LCPA, this one doesn’t need much in the way of equalizing. Fantastic beer, loads of hop presence. Great drop

this is the beer that started it all for me, changed my life. It was my introduction to ’proper’ beer. Awesome malt backbone with huge hop flavour. what more could a man want?

Tried on tap, smells divine almost like citrus fruit followed by an almost grainy palate but with good mouth feel and quite bitter in the end

I was actually a little disappointed with this beer the last time I tasted it. The punched had seemed to gone out it. It is still a nice beer though, and certainly one of the best commercial pale ales in New Zealand. The limited release beers from Epic are a much better bet.

HOPS!!! The label on this beer promises them, and it delivers them by the bucketload. Oodles of bitterness but backed up by a fruity undercurrent. Very refreshing and cleansing. Would be interesting to try this with rich foods.
