3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 kwoeltje (1851) - Manchester, USA - JAN 21, 2011
(bottle) medium amber, almost no head. Hop aroma of pine and citrus. Flavor is a lot of hops - pine, citrus, grass, but enough caramel malt to keep it from being too unbalanced

this is the beer that started it all for me, changed my life. It was my introduction to ’proper’ beer. Awesome malt backbone with huge hop flavour. what more could a man want?

Light copper amber with a good long-lasting head and full lace. A terrific melding of caramel malt and floral hops. Both twirl around each other through the finish with just a touch of bitter lingering after the rest is gone. I didn’t know New Zealand had good beers. Easy drinking, a real keeper (except for the cost per bottle!).
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Rangi (117) - NEW ZEALAND - APR 19, 2012
Nice solid amber poor. Big fruity aroma, when tasted is bordering on almost to intense and over bearing for my taste. Very slight bitterness and a faint funny taste present as an after taste that wasn’t very tasty at all.
3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Atheist_Peace (515) - Halifax, Nova Scotia, CANADA - APR 14, 2012
500ml bottle. Pours bright, clear amber with mountains of off-white head that leaves a little lace. The nose is dominated by musty hops that give a fair citrus impression, but fall short of being interesting in any real way. Far too light on the palate with upfront bitterness and an odd chalkiness. There’s a real sour note in there too. I was expecting a lot more from this brewery. Maybe the travel killed the beers.

clear amber like colour. aromas are more pleasant than the other beers i’ve tried from this brewery. has a hoppy/floral note and a malted backbone. it does has a sort of funk in the aroma as well. flavours are again salty. flat bitterness in the finish. not tasty.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 MJGG (784) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - APR 12, 2012

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Gramoit (61) - AUSTRALIA - MAR 28, 2012
Citrus aroma, thick head that stays around. Easy to drink with a nice citrussy, sweet flavour. If it was marketed at a lower price it would be an excellent session beer. Another solid beer from epic brewing
