Bottle pour. Cloudy dark copper pour with a lasting off white head. Aroma is wet grain, spicy rye malt, some vegetal hops. Taste is a bit better with some more spicy rye, bready and caramel malt backbone, but the overripe vegetables I got a hint of in the aroma are more present here. Lingering finish, light carbonation. The hint of rotting veggies that I get in the aroma really detracts from a grain I absolutely adore

Sampled on 3/20/2013. This rye beer pours a slightly cloudy amber color from a 22oz bottle. Small to medium bodied white foamy head with decent retention and nice lacing. The aroma is fruity, bready and sweet with some rye spiciness and some hops. A medium bodied rye beer. The malts are bready, fruity and sweet. The hops are herbal, earthy and spicy. Lively carbonation. Nice balanced between the bread, hops and rye; malt and bready at first then hops and spice. Very drinkable. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

This isn’t that great. The flavor is a bit plain for a rye beer and it looks like dirty water. Ho-hum.

No spice ness u would expect from a rye ipa. It's okay but nothing special. You can get an average brew like this about anywhere.

Draft. Pours a hazy amber color with a medium sized off white head. The aroma has caramel malt, mild spicy rye, crackers with light earthy notes. The flavor has much of the same; caramel malts, mild rye notes, toasted crackers, and hints of earthy hops. OK, but...
