COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Spiral Jetty India Pale Ale is the launching point in our series of hoppy IPA brews. Spiral Jetty IPA has an aggressive hop profile (five different hops used here with two in the dry hop) presenting citrus, floral, resinous or pine aromas and flavors typical of American hops and a nice pleasant, cleansing bitterness on the finish. The dominance of the hops helps to balance the complex malt flavors and the higher alcohol content. Spiral Jetty is our strongest Classic Series ale at 6.6% alcohol by volume, but certainly not our strongest beer.

Poured 22oz into a shaker. Golden color with a nice head. This is a solid IPA. It has a nice floral aroma.

FROTHINGSLOSH (6641) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 25, 2016
Sampled on draft this beer poured a murky peach color with a small foamy white head that faded and left minimal lacing. The aroma was sweet, tart, tangy, piney and citric. The flavor was tangy and sweetish with bread and yeast followed by tart citrus and a bit of tropical fruit. Medium length finish. Moderately full bodied. Solid.

Tap at Watering Hole for Epic tap takeover back in the Spring. Fairly tame nose with grapefruit and resiny hops. Average carbonation and a medium body. Nice, pithy bitter finish. Just ok, but not really that interesting.

Tap. Bright yellow gold with a thin white head. Hoppiness is fairly muted in the aroma; biscuity malts, and dryish. Peppery hops in the finish with some citrus and crackers. Medium body with soft carbonation.

Orange pour from 22oz bottle in park city. White head. Tropical and dank fruit taste, slightly malty and a little too light. Not bad

Draught at The Aldgate. Copper pour with very little head. Pine hop aroma. Flavour is the same, okay dry finish.

Sunflower seed smell, cloudy orange pour slightly bitter, not a typical beer from epic that is usually great.

Aroma: citrus and pine. Appearance: golden color with nice white head. Taste: medium bitterness (resin and some citrus notes), citrus and herbal, some roasted notes, quite dry. Palate: medium body and medium carbonation, bitter finish. Overall: Nice lighter IPA with nice citrus taste.

Draught at Watering Hole. Classic citrus/pine hop bouquet, biscuit malt base, quite a light body, bitter finish. Not that impressed, quite mild for an IPA, may be past its prime.

Bottle. Creamy White good mostly lasting head. Orange colour. Mosderate malty and heavy hoppy aroma. Orange notes. Heavy bitter flavor. Long heavy bitter finish. Oily palate. Nice but expensive.
