Light gold pour, whitish head. Aroma is lightly spiced, stone fruit and yeast. Flavor follows with a nice fruity note, yeast and just the lightest tart notes. NIce stuff!

Saisonís should be drinkable and this one is very drinkable. Good flavors not over powering nice and smooth.

Appearance: hazy pale gold with two fingers of loose fluffy white head, good retention and chunky lacing. (4/5) Aroma: barnyard funk, citrus, crackery malt, herbal, peppery spice. (7/10) Taste: moderate sweet, moderate bitter, mild tart. (7/10) Palate: medium body, moderate carbonation, dry and slightly warming finish. (4/5) A bit sweet and boozy for a saison, but still quite good. I donít generally appreciate gushers, but this one was quite low-speed, so I could manage it with zero spillage. I suspect thatís largely due to this thing being two years old, but the extra time in the cellar doesnít appear to have done it any harm - thereís no runaway lactic or brett, for example, and the funkiness, though definite, is even-handed. Pretty much what it says on the label: a straight-up saison. (15/20)

Bottle at the brewery. Pours hazy gold with a thick, fizzy off white head. Tastes like herbs, thyme, rosemary, dry cracker malt, lemon, grapefruit, citrus hops. Light body and low carbonation. Smells like thyme, rosemary, lavender, dry cracker malt, and light citrus hops.

A good saison. Slightly sweet and fruit-forward for the style. But, enjoyable. Would have again.

Not a bad saison. The interesting part is it has an aroma of a gose. Thin fading head. Flavor is typical saison yeast with very light sour. Good mouthfeel and carbonation. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cloudy gold with a fluffy white head and very nice lace. Lemon, grass, banana, clove. Zesty citrus flavors, yeast, bitter grassy hops. Light body, high carbonation, fizzy mouthfeel and a crisp clean finish.

Bottle from Hazelís beverage world. Pours yellow with two inches of white foam. lots of funk on the nose. Lots of barnyard on the tongue. hides the alcohol well. This is a saison!

A good saison. Pours an ugly yellow. Not as good as their sage, but well balanced. Smells and tastes basic. Not very memorable.

Doesnít pull of the higher abv(for a saison) as good as Opal does, but thatís the beers only fault...a little tiny bit to sweet and heavy. But, the yeasty fruitiness and light floral hops are very pleasant and this is a good brew

Bomber of release 15. Big white head atop a clear straw beer. Good lacing. Great drinking beer. Not too funky or rustic....good toasty malt flavors, lots of Belgian spice, and a balance. Sweeter finish. Not very noteworthy as a saison, primarily due to sweetness, but good all around Belgian beer.
