A big generous stout, but I feel it has been dominated by the oak influence as it has lost its big chocolately goodness and been replaced by flavours that remind me of burnt rubber.

Bottled. A dark red-brown beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt and wood. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, wood, and a bit of tar, leading to a dry, woody and burnt finish. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.
