Bottle. Black with a dark brown tinge and a large, creamy light brown head. Aroma: coffee, roasted malt, fruity hops, licorice, some kind of candy (wine gums?). Taste: licorice, fruit (orange?/citrus?/what?), chocolate, a hint of coffee, a slight acidity, maybe berries. Medium-bodied. Simple, but tasty.

Stort halvsmutsigt skum. Lite halvspritig doft. Extremt tunn vätska, men tydliga rostade toner. Smaken är väl ok men den blir alldeles för tunn.

hirigalzkar (1820) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - FEB 26, 2011
Bottle. This stout is hard to put on the map. Its kind of a mix between an american porter and a english stout. Elegantly creamy and well balanced, still kind of hoppy with some coffe beans bitterness aswell. Slightly smoked. KInd of thin for its 6,8ABV, but that also adds to its drinability.

500ml bottle from Systembolaget

Pours black with a nice foamy head. Aroma has hints of chocolate and coffee. Taste is pretty roasted but the body is kinda light and the finish is pretty bland. Alcohol burns through a bit too much.
