COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Slightly higher in alcohol content than traditional Wits, ours is brewed using wheat, oats, authentic Belgian yeast, malts and just a sprinkle of hops. Spices include coriander, sweet and bitter orange peel and grains of paradise.

Bottle. Pours a hazy hay with a light white that fades to a fluffy halo. Big spicy, yeasty and banana aroma. The spice is a bit overwhelming on the tongue that fades to a slight orange backing on the tongue. Nothing spectacular.

Pours hazy yellow with a thinnish white head. Aroma is a nice balance of citrus, banana and spices but the taste loses much of the spice.

From a bottle poured a straw color with a small amount of head. Light spicy malty flavor with a quick finish.

Bottle. Strong floral coriander, ginger and light lemon aroma. Clear yellow with small head. Floral coriander, light ginger, and mild lemon malt flavor. Medium body. Not bad - heavy on the spice.

22oz bottle, shared with caterwaul. Release #9, 5.1%. Mostly hazy yellow orange color. Little white head. Couple bits of lace. Really zesty orange peel, ginger aroma, very nice. It’s zesty and orange peely in natural way, which I don’t mind. Medium body. Crisp, lighter carbonation, more dry finish. Lightly chewy. Dry, zesty sweet flavor to this. Lightly tart. OK, slightly above average, more flavorful, assertive, and dry wit. Would like a tid bit more full body with the yeast, though the citrus and spice is satisfying. A witbier worth paying lower-end bomber prices for.

Pours light gold with a slight head. Not a lot of smell to this one, but has a nice slight citrusy taste to it.

On tap at seattle brew fest. Straw yellow cloudy some head. Aroma of rosemary sage lemons peaches. Tastes of herbal coriander, spicy yeast. Palate is dry, too dry. Yeasty feel helps a bit, but the herbs are too strong on this one- not my thing.

Bottle: Pours a very lightly hazy yellow color with a big white head. The nose is lightly spicy with some yeast and grassy hop notes. The flavor is thin, moderate husk and wheat notes along with a subtle underlying of coriander and citrus rinds. Where’s the exponential? Finishes thin. A bit of a let down.

Bottle courtesy of tastybeer, thanks! Cloudy yellow color, small white head. Aroma of lemon bubblegum. Taste is lemonbread with a bit of pepper at the finish.

Another old-ass (June 2012) beer from Huntington Beach Total Wine...shame on me for not checking the batch number first! - Pours lightly hazy gold with a huge creamy off-white head. Nose is fruity and lightly spicy, with cardamom, coriander and lemon in the forefront. Dry malt with mineral notes. Taste drops off considerably from the surprisingly zesty nose. It’s soapy and a bit sharp and astringent, with alcohol notes and bitter citrus peel. The spiciness is there but not overbearing, and the citrus is prominent throughout. The same dry/mineral malt is in the backbone, but it’s overpowered by the sharpness. Body is fairly thin with biting carbonation. Seems like this would have been a pretty nice beer that was likely ruined by sitting on a warm shelf for 8-9 months.
