Slightly higher in alcohol content than traditional Wits, ours is brewed using wheat, oats, authentic Belgian yeast, malts and just a sprinkle of hops. Spices include coriander, sweet and bitter orange peel and grains of paradise.

On tap at the Denver brewery. Pour is hazy golden with a small white head and good lacing. White pepper, basil, lavender, light vanilla, biscuit, herbal, grass, and straw in the aroma. Taste is heavy spice - lavender, basil, white pepper - lemons, grass, biscuit, vanilla, and phenols with a spicy finish. Light body with high carboantion. Decent beer but a bit too heavy on the lavender to be a great wit for me.

Bottle pour. Hazy golden color with large foamy white head and nice lacing. Orange and bread aroma. Smooth medium body. Strong bread taste that taste a little like bananas. Also orange followed by a strong hoppy aftertaste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from 14-0. Pour orange brown and translucent. Nose is orange rind and malty and cereal like. Smooth at first and aftertaste too but middle is more awkward. Coriander and bitter rind fills in there to ruin it. Ok while sitting poolside but would look for another.

Bottle courtesy of Douglas88. Aroma: wheat malt and lots of spices, orange, lemon, coriander and grains of paradise come in pretty strong. Slight vegetable note, maybe from the coriander. Pours cloudy golden-straw color with a vanishing white head, minimal lacing. Flavor is lemon, light orange, wheat malt, coriander, again a bit of a vegetable note. Light body, high carbonation.

Bottle. Pours a hazy hay with a light white that fades to a fluffy halo. Big spicy, yeasty and banana aroma. The spice is a bit overwhelming on the tongue that fades to a slight orange backing on the tongue. Nothing spectacular.

Pours hazy yellow with a thinnish white head. Aroma is a nice balance of citrus, banana and spices but the taste loses much of the spice.

Bottle. Strong floral coriander, ginger and light lemon aroma. Clear yellow with small head. Floral coriander, light ginger, and mild lemon malt flavor. Medium body. Not bad - heavy on the spice.

22oz bottle, shared with caterwaul. Release #9, 5.1%. Mostly hazy yellow orange color. Little white head. Couple bits of lace. Really zesty orange peel, ginger aroma, very nice. Itís zesty and orange peely in natural way, which I donít mind. Medium body. Crisp, lighter carbonation, more dry finish. Lightly chewy. Dry, zesty sweet flavor to this. Lightly tart. OK, slightly above average, more flavorful, assertive, and dry wit. Would like a tid bit more full body with the yeast, though the citrus and spice is satisfying. A witbier worth paying lower-end bomber prices for.

bottle. hazy pale golden with one finger head. itís a bit of a strange take on the wit style. the grains of paradise adds a unique spiciness that doesnít entirely fit what i want in a wit, but isnít bad either. plenty of coriander and orange peel as well.
