Pours a cloudy yellow without much of a head. Yeast, citrus and a hint of spice. Yeasty finish. Decent wit.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Hazy pale gold, average white head that retains well. Wheaty, with light coriander and a dry finish. Couldn’t pick up Grains of Patadise, but this is the way I prefer this style regardless.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
650ml bottle pours a slightly hazy straw color with a finger and a half of white head that leaves some spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma is coriander and orange zest with some hints of cereal grains. Taste is a orange zest bitterness with a bit of coriander and a light fruity and malty sweetness. Light to medium bodied with generous carbonation that tickles the tongue. Overall, a very full flavored witbier that is nicely balanced and highly recommended.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
bottle. hazy pale golden with one finger head. it’s a bit of a strange take on the wit style. the grains of paradise adds a unique spiciness that doesn’t entirely fit what i want in a wit, but isn’t bad either. plenty of coriander and orange peel as well.

22 oz bottle, batch 33, purchased at the Denver Taproom. Hazy golden appearance with a white head. Aroma of lemon peel, bread, light earth, toasted grain, light floral notes and a light peppery spice. Similar flavor, adding hints of coriander and orange zest. Mild hop bitterness backed by a light malt sweetness. Light to medium body with a nice crisp feel. A nice quaffer and reasonably priced at $3.99

Bottle from 14-0. Pour orange brown and translucent. Nose is orange rind and malty and cereal like. Smooth at first and aftertaste too but middle is more awkward. Coriander and bitter rind fills in there to ruin it. Ok while sitting poolside but would look for another.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
It sounds great it just isn't. Not much flavor to thin on the tongue. Not a prominent yeast. Not what I would want from a wit.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pale yellow body with a frothy white head. Heavy aroma of clove, coriander, orange peel. Notes of lemon, pepper and citrus. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet, lightly bitter and lightly to moderately acidic. Medium body, watery texture turning velvety, lively carbonation. Overly spiced with strong taste of coriander, grains of paradise, lavender, but not so much to taste bath soapy. This beer grows on you the more your drink.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pour on tap at the brewery, hazy golden pour with white head, aroma brought notes of grass, biscuit, wheat, some earth into a bit of white fruit, touch of orange peel as well, some coriander. Taste is a mix of earth, coriander, slight white fruit into a bit of orange, some bready notes, finishing fairly sweet, slightly dry.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
May 12th, 2013 - Epic Brewing is making waves in my beer portfolio for refreshingly unique takes on old, familiar styles. Their riff on the Belgian Wit looks like any other, glowing with a hazy tapioca gold, and scented with a light, herbal aroma, with some fancy hand soap and booze and a liberal sprinkling of graham cracker. Strong carbonation lifts the flavor from the beginning where it is a low murmur of orange, and then perks up to a high peak of juniper, and then down to a medium-long aftertaste of orange peel and orange marmalade. The flavors on this wit are deeper than most, and better perfumed, giving a quirky twist to an otherwise homogeneous style.
