UPDATED: OCT 10, 2011 On tap at the brewery. Clear brown hint of red pour. Very clear. Lightly fruit aroma..dark fruit and malt. Easy drinking brew. Dark fruit, brown sugar, and malt are well blended to the point that it is just smooth fall weather drinking. I need a fire or something. Smooth full mouthfeel. Quite nice.

notalush (3746) - Denver, Colorado, USA - SEP 17, 2011
lightly hazy copper pour - nose of caramel, plum, light hop bitterness, toffee - body is medium and slightly creamy - malt profile is lightly toasty, with golden promise being the star - fairly dry up front for the style, but a caramel and toffee sweetness develops through the middle - a light plumy character - none of the smokiness you expect - in fact, no real yeast character to speak of - lightly spicy alcohol in the finish - it’s okay, just not as bold as you want the style to be.

Tap @ brewery. Red orange appearance with a smallish, off white head. Earthy, mildly bitter hops, strong toffee, moderate caramel aroma. Pretty strong flavor. Lots of toffee and caramel, yet fairly bitter, including the finish. Some booziness also. Ok.
