COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Meridian has a strong citrus hop aroma, reminiscent of grapefruit. The flavor is balanced significantly towards hop bitterness with a light malt profile. The hop flavor lingers in the finish. Heavy dry hopping contributes to the big, fresh hop presence.

On a recent trip to Fort Collins with friends, we had the opportunity to try this one on tap at the brewery. Poured a nice dark golden color with a smallish white head. Aromas of tropical fruits, biscuit and grapefruit. On the palate, medium bodied and balanced, with flavors of earth, grapefruit and biscuit.

Tasted on tap at the brewery in Fort Collins, Colorado. Good light burnt orange appearance. Somewhat weak aroma that’s mostly citrusy hops. Very tasty lemon-orange flavored hoppy taste.

On tap at Equinox. Pours hazy dark golden orange with a white head that goes to a thin film that laces the glass.

The aroma is sweet sugary tropical fruits.

The flavor is sweet tropical fruits (tangerine?) with a decent resiney bitter finish. As it warms fruits fade and biscuit malt comes in, lowering it some IMO. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with low but smooth carbonation.

Overall, this is fruitier than most IPAs I’ve had (and more so than I remember it from before), but it still has some nice resiney hop bitterness. Really well balanced! I really liked it at first but as i drank it, some of the bright fruitiness faded lowering it some but still a great beer.
