COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
MPA has a bright, crisp hop aroma, reminiscent of grapefruit. In the flavor, the hops are clean and citrusy. A light, but still balancing, malt profile counters a moderate bitterness. The yeast contributes a subtle fruitiness that enhances the citrus character of the hops. The finish is slightly sweet with lingering hop flavors.

(draft at CO state fair Foamfest, 8/28/10). Clear light copper color. Medium off white head. Moderate spicy/grass/citrus hop aroma. Flavor of the same. Avg duration. Light bitter finish. Slick texture. Soft carbonation. Spare lacing.

On a recent trip to Fort Collins with friends, we had the opportunity to try this one on tap at the brewery. Poured a nice golden color with a small white head. Aromas of biscuit and citrusy hops. On the palate, light to medium bodied, with biscuit and citrusy hops.

On tap @ brewery. Slightly hazy, golden yellow appearance with a pretty small, white head. Piney, bushy hoppy nose. Pretty potent piney, organic hoppy flavor. Bitter, piney aftertaste.

On tap during 2011 Colorado Brewers Festival in Fort Collins. Orange-gold in color, very little head. Faint aroma of funky orange zest, and some green peppery hops. Taste had more hop bitterness than flavor. Pretty citrusy, but also pretty malty. A combo of pale and caramel-cereal grain malt hold a firm backbone to the tangy hops. Yet, odd somehow...to bitter for its smoothness. More carbonation would have helped.
