Pour on tap at the brewery, hazy orange with white head brings an aroma of spicy and earthy hops, touch of orange and lemon notes, hints of biscuit and yeast notes, touch of caramel. Taste is a slightly hoppy orange and lemon, touch of biscuit and caramel, slight spice notes finishing fairly bitter.

Tap @ Equinox. Must have lost this rating since it’s always on tap. Clear, dark burnt orange appearance with a tan head. Toasty caramel malty, somewhat spicy, earthy hoppy aroma. Pretty sweet caramel malty, toffee flavor that really could be balanced better, as this sucker seems to lack a good hop backbone.

On a recent trip to Fort Collins with friends, we had the opportunity to try this one on tap at the brewery. Poured a dark amber color with a bit of light tan foam on top. Aromas of caramel, toasted malt and light hops. On the palate, this one was medium bodied, with light hops, toasted malt and caramel.

Tap at Equinox. Pours clear copper with an average, fizzy cream colored head, medium retention and flat lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (bread, cookie, caramel, toffee), average hops (floral, herbal, citrus), and light esters (dried fruit). Flavor is heavy malt (cookie, caramel, toasted), average hops (pine, citrus), and light esters (fruity). Medium body, low warmth, carbonation, and creaminess, slick with a dry finish.

On tap at Equinox poured a clear dark reddish amber with a small lingering amber head. Aromas of earthiness, carmel, toffee and light fruittiness. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of toffee, carmel, earthiness and light fruittiness with a smooth dry moderatly bitter finish.

Copper body, thin white head. Nose is some light toffee & honey. Flavor is some toasty malt, honey & grass. Nice enough.
