COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Clocking in at a whopping 9.1% ABV, double that of a standard hefeweizen, Supergiant defies classification. The traditional Bavarian weizen yeast provides a complex aroma and flavor profile. Hints of clove, banana and alcohol build upon each other. A light tartness balances the larger flavors, making the finish crisp. ABV 9.1% / IBU: 24

Tap at the brewery. Thick haze pour with a lasting head. Straw colored. Spicy aroma with a bit of funky spice, bread, and banana--ish notes. Banana bread flavor loaded with spice of cinnamon and alspice/clove. There is also a lingering feeling of dates or some other dark fruit. Full bodied and creamy.

On tap at the brewery. Pours with a muddy golden body with a small white head. Aromas of fusel, 4VG clove, banana, alcohol and grassy. Flavors are vanilla, alcohol, grassy and grainy. Weird balance. Mild carbonation and super hot. Yeast seems stressed on this one.

Pour is hazy yellow with white head on tap at the brewery. Aroma brings big banana notes, some clove, bubblegum, spice and biscuit, hints of toffee laced in there as well. Taste is a mix of banana and bitter spice notes, hints of sweet bubblegum mixing with biscuit and toffee, finishing fairly sweet. Fairly well made.

Tap @ brewery. Very cloudy, yellow-orange appearance with a white head. Quite spicy yeasty, big banana, clove, wheat malty aroma. Milky mouth feel. I wasn’t expecting the strength of this beer. Fairly spicy, banana, bready yeasty, fruity, wheat malty flavor with a kick that really isn’t boozy but "strong" tasting. The flavor isn’t bad but it’s a little hard to drink.
