COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Zenith IPA is all about balance. Hops dominate the aroma with a musty , citrus character. The flavor is also very hoppy, but, a clean malt profile balances the hops and contributes to the overall complexity. Light malt sweetness counters an aggressive bitterness. The lasting impression should be a dance of malt and hops that lingers on the tongue.

BlackForestCO (977) - Aurora, Colorado, USA - JAN 23, 2011
On tap at the brewery. Poured a clear copper color with a thin, tight white head. Soft caramel maltiness and earthy, musty, resiny hops dominate the aroma along with a light, dry fruitiness (orange skin, tangerine). Smooth, crisp entry quickly leads into a bitter, earthy hoppiness with some light pine and citrus fruit (grapefruit, tangerine) that lingers into the dry finish. Moderate carbonation and average mouth feel. Overall, it really doesn’t have any standout features, it was just a really solid, well put together, fresh IPA that tasted pretty damn good.

Not bad. Not bad at all. Kinda sweet and hoppy but malt DOES balance out the profile. Almost like a chai tea with lots of lemon. Nice!
