pivnizub (3900), Porúří, Germany Sep 22, 2006 Bottle (one of the last bottles brewed in Erbach, the brewery is closed now):Sweetish-grainy nose with some grassy hoppy edges; clear golden coloured, small but firm white head; moderate bitter flavour, light "slim" body; short, bitter-sweet, a bit citrousy finish. An average mass-production Pilsener with a hop-extract aftertaste. MoritzF (3883), Ruhrpott, Germany Sep 3, 2006 (bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a foamy white, slowly lacing head. Herbal hoppy nose with sweet grainy malt. Soft bitter flavour, almost light bodied with a crispy carbonation. Unspectacular hoppiness on a malty base, dry, moderately bitter and hoppy finish with a touch of metal. Still drinkable brew but inexpressive and thin.
