Couleur acajou-cuivrée, col blanc fin.
Arôme rappelant la confiture de fraise qui reste assez agréable.
Palais est léger, fruité avec ici pas mal de fraise. On n’est pas dans le côté terreux de la fraise, mais plus dans une sorte de confiture voire purée de fraise. Le tout reste sucré sans pour cela tomber dans le faux sucre. Note en retrait ce côté blonde belge avec un malt carapils. Bière ou pas bière, reste sympa.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is pink. Aroma and taste are strawberry smoothie, malt and sugar. Nice and easy drinkable. Quite sweet.

11/XI/12 - 33cl bottle from Willems (Grobbendonk) @ home - BB: VI/14 (2012-1209)
Clear orange to pink head (like pink grapefruit), small creamy white head, pretty stable, non adhesive. Aroma: sweet, lots of real strawberries, nothing artificial, yoghurt with strawberries, fresh and fruity! MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: wow, it’s like a fresh strawberry pie with English cream! Sweet, but not overly done, little sourish, but mainly just a lot of really fresh strawberries. Aftertaste: more strawberries, bit lemony. Ok, I have to admit, it’s not my thing, and I didn’t drink the whole bottle, just a few sips. But if you are to make a strawberry beer, this is about the best outcome one can hope for! Great job, Scheldebrouwers!
