Bottle: Slightly hazy, medium sized, quickly diminishing head; faint fruity nose, mainly lemon and cloves; mild sweetish, a bit sourish, zoo, flavour, light bodied, almost watery; short, a bit sweetish, a bit fruity finish. A "modern" Weißbier: watery and mainly tasteless......

Bottle. Yellow colour with a white head. Fruity aroma with hint of wheat. So is the flavour. Short finish.

larsga (6621) - Oslo, NORWAY - APR 6, 2006
Medium white fine-laced head over hazy dark yellow body. Mild round wheat aroma with refreshing sourish spice notes with a hint of banana. Full, rounded wheat taste with quite refreshing spice taste. Slightly mealy mouthfeel. Aftertaste is dry spices with a touch of metal. An OK weizen, but not very remarkable.

Bottled: Orange coloured. Unclear. Fluffy white head. This is a bland brew. Light wheaty notes in the aroma. Some spice and yeast. Flavour is very watery and thin. LIght yeast, light spice, some fruits and NO banana. I like banana in my hefe. Don’t leave any impressions on the palate. Boring. Erdinger just dosn’t do it for me.

Light nose - where’s my hefeweizen aroma? Hazy pale gold color, fizzy head. Soft wheat malt. This is a light beer overall. Like hefeweizen for beginners or something.

saxo (14455) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - MAR 8, 2006
Bottle. Small head that fades qucikly. Hazy orange color. This reminds me more of champagne (which I dont really like) and not of beer. Way too high carbonation. Too acidic.

Storm (2684) - Amager, DENMARK - MAR 7, 2006
33 cl bottle. Orange colour with a weak head. Aroma of orange and hint of wheat. Very yasty flavour with notes of wheat and malt. Reminds me of a combintion of wheat and pilsner, just without any bitterness at the end.

Hazy orange color, small fast diminishing head. Lively carbonation. Kind of sweet banana, orange nose. Very light, a bit yeasty. Also light banana taste - not much body.

Not much champ over this one. hazy yellowish colour with a small fully diminishing head. Highly carbonated. Unsually bad for an Erdinger.
