2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Damn twistcap nearly tore my finger off. Oh well. Pours a very cloudy deep gold, with a tragically short-lived small, white head.
Sweet aroma of yeast and mild hops.
An exceptionally bland hefe this... flavor is fairly sweet, faintly yeasty, but without any noticable character whatsoever. There’s a hint of hops in the finish, that somehow turns into a buttery sweetness in the aftertaste.
An uninspired, uninspiring weissbier. Nicely fresh though. Kind of like a cross between pale lager and hefe.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Hazy amber body. Short-lived head. Yeasty and slightly acidic; artificial sweetness. I didn’t expect much more form a beer bottle with a twist-cap...

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Pretty poor Bavarian wheat beer from a brewer that does the style much better elsewhere. The gimmick here is that you’re encouraged to drink this from the bottle. Which might explain why it looked so flat and uninviting in a glass. It’s cloudy apricot colour with a short vanishing head. The aroma was sweet and fruity but noticably light on wheat. It shows faint banana and pineapple, with a hint of lemonade shandy. On the tongue, it has some sweet pears and a light sweet-sour banana finish. All in all, it tastes like an attempt to win new drinkers by making a hefe that has as few of the characteristics of the style as possible. It’s refreshing but that’s about it. 3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
(Bottle at Fynske Øldage) Fruity, wheaty aroma. Sweet and mild flavor. Lots of fruit. Almost like winegums. This is definitely for drinking lots of on hot summer nights.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Dark gold body that is clear when decanted. I got some dark colored floaters and cloudiness when I poured out the whole bottle. The head is whte. Aroma of buttered dark bread with some light pears. There is also some very light banana and oranges. The taste has some light banana and pears. There is also some light clove in the finish. Overall,it also has a little bit of cardboard. Not a good hefe, Erdinger has done much better.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
(Bottle 33 cl) Rarely - if ever - did I get a German Hefe in a 33 cl bottle, and also with the bottom designed to be a cap opener. All gadgets aside, this is still a beer. Hazy, deep orange beer with a surprisingly weak head. You really get confused as to whether this really is a Weissbier, as you don’t get any of the wonderful, fruity esters that categorize the style. A Hefe in looks only. Why? Not unpleasant, just bland. 200501

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Creamy white head, mostly lasting, yellow colour, moderate citrus-hoppy aroma. No yeast in aroma or taste. More like pilsener than hefe.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Cloudy golden colour. Small unstable head. Yeasty flavour, hint of pineapple. A bit flavourlfess, but OK, I guess.
