1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
wtf? This is a wheat beer?! Poured cloudy pale gold, with no head whatsoever. Slight hoppy aroma, with none of the typical banana. I would have sworn that I was drinking a pilsener if I was blind tasting. The flavour is pretty ordinary, bit of everything but not much of anything. Pretty weak really, so much so that my non beer-drinking wife liked this one - enough said.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Cloudy dark yellow with a small white head. Thin and a bit unclean banana aroma. Thin body with notes of banana. Short spicy aftertaste. I’ve never been impressed by Erdinger....

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a cloudy yellow with a fizzy head, poor retention and lacing. Bready yeasty aroma with some cloves. Fairly thin wheaty mouthful , good level of carbonation and a very crisp finish. Just a standard wheat beer.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cloudy pale golden with a fine but weak head formation. Wheaty, malty aroma but quite weak. OK wheaty flavours but lacking complexity of real hefeweizens. Slight banana esters and almost a bit watery. I could not taste any hops at all.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
(Bottled) Opaque, light orange color with a medium, vanishing head and almost no lace. Mild, sweetish, lemony-fruity, slightly plasticky aroma. Sweet and wheaty, yeasty, very fruity flavor. Moderately thick, medium-bodied palate with quite smooth carbonation. A very easily drinkable and smooth, quite pleasant brew - although it’s quite far from the "regular" weizen. An easy hefeweizen for the masses, and not bad as such.

2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Found this in a Mercator store in Zadar. A hefe that can be drunk from a bottle, eh ? A recipe for failure more likely. I don’t like the regular Erdinger weissbiers. I find them too watery and lacking real hefe taste. This is probably a watered down version of Erdinger. Go them. Looks fine though. Hazey orange, with a thick head that holds on for some time, and then suddenly turns fluffy and collapses from within. The honey-with-some-cream-on-top look.
Smells more like a pilsener then a weissbier. Very faint too. Taste.... exactly what I expeted. Watery, overcarbonated, lacking real weissbier flavors other than some faint lemon. It’s yeasty though. Mild aftertaste. A hefe for those that really don’t know better.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Hazy orange, good off-white head, livelycarbonation. Metallic cardboard and wheat aroma, not very strong. Quite carbonated mouthfeel. Crisp, almost witbier-like orangy flavor. Light to medium-bodied. Average refreshing weizen which lacks normal sweetish banana notes.

1.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Pale golden. Unclear. White short head. Almost no aroma. Very mild flavour. Yeast. A hint of citrus. A hoppy note in the finish. Watery palate. WHAT A SHAME.

A good not too sweet wheat beer. Good quality and very simple. Modest moderate finish.
