COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Erdinger Champ is the ideal lifestyle wheat beer: it’s brewed in such a way that it can be drunk straight from the bottle, but without compromising Erdinger’s legendary flavor and high quality standards. The 0.33-liter longneck bottle with its unique opening mechanism emphasizes the lifestyle character of the new beer. In addition to its twist-open cap, the innovative bottle also features an integrated opener on the bottom for extra convenience. Simply place one Erdinger Champ on top of another to twist open the bottom bottle. As you can see, it’s always best to order two bottles and enjoy Erdinger Champ in company! With its fine yeast, Erdinger Champ has the character of a classic Bavarian wheat beer. The yeast gives the beer is natural, slightly cloudy appearance. Erdinger Champ - pure wheat beer enjoyment straight from the bottle.

Non bottom twisty bottle version. Pours a cloudy yellow with a thick frothy white head. Aroma of light malt and fruit but only faintly wheaty. Taste is very light and refreshing with a fruity flavour but lacking most of the things that make wheat beer what it is. It’s OK.

It seems not as good as regular Erdinger, perhaps I got an old bottle. A typical, but somewhat lacking Bavarian Hefeweissbier.

Bottle. (Not the one with the twister underneath) Light light hazy yellow with a thin white head. Smells weakly of oranges and apples. Flavour is sour and watery and totally out of balance with some taste of oranges and malts. Very little finish. The worst thing about this beer is that it’s actually made to taste nothing! why then botter to make it a wheat style in the first place???

Bottle. this has to be the ugliest beer I’ve ever seen. No wonder the bottle says to drink it straight from the bottle, they probably don’t want anyone to see how it looks. A pink/orange liquid that looks like some strange home made juice at a hippie collective that you try avoid drinking. Taste is like a thin grape fruit soda It’s a good substitute for a soda, but not a choice if you’re after a beer.

Foggy dark golden color/ white head. Honey biscuit, banana, berry fruit aromas. light bodied with average co2. Weak grainy wheat malt, cheap white bread flavors.
