11.2 ounce bottle from Beer Run. Pours a hazy orange color with a large fizzy white head. Fair head retention. Aroma of wheat with a bit of doughiness and caramel. Citrus, soft stone fruits, spice, yeast. The taste is citrus, wheat, fairly strong clove, mild banana, some toastiness. Medium bodied, fizzy carbonation. Decent.

Bottled: Orange coloured. Unclear. Fluffy white head. This is a bland brew. Light wheaty notes in the aroma. Some spice and yeast. Flavour is very watery and thin. LIght yeast, light spice, some fruits and NO banana. I like banana in my hefe. Don’t leave any impressions on the palate. Boring. Erdinger just dosn’t do it for me.

Poured at the Gulfstream beer fest. Terrible hefe. Awful. A hazy gold. Aroma is way too grainy and malty and lacks the usually wheat, bubblegum, banana and cloves that I am used to. its grainy and bitter both in the nose and on the tongue. I don’t get it. nasty.

It seems not as good as regular Erdinger, perhaps I got an old bottle. A typical, but somewhat lacking Bavarian Hefeweissbier.

Bottle… Clear yellow ale with a mid-sized, frothy, white head. Good retention. Low key grainy aroma with gentle notes of white pepper and honey. Light to medium-bodied with an abrasive mouthfeel and modest carbonation. Well-balanced. Minerally, peppery flavor. Short, crisp, mostly clean finish.

Botte, hazy yellow beer with white head. Malty and fruity aroma as well as flavour. Easy to drink but a thin and disappointed weissbier.
