Erdinger Champ has a thin, off-white, fizzy head, a hazy, yellow-orange appearance, which hazes up even more when the bottom of the bottle is swished and poured in, lots of bubble streams and clinging bubbles, and pretty much no lacing left behind. The aroma is sweet and bready. The flavor is of sweetness, yeasty bread, a hint of banana, a hint of coriander, and some tap water. Mouthfeel is light and watery, and Erdinger Champ finishes semi-dry, refreshing, and delicious. RJT

Reasonable head, no lace, cloudy as one would expect from a weissbier. Very subtle spice flavors, was more like an American Lager than a wheat beer.

Aroma of yeast, and flowers. Flavor of blowers with a bit of lemon and yeast. The beer has a huge head too.

Bottle 33cl. Pours a foamy white head. Citric aroma. Lemon. Elderberry. Bread and wheat(!) for the taste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle poured into a shaker. Pours an almost-clear dark gold with minimal head. Aroma of wheat with some clove and a little doughy yeast. Taste is light sweet and reflects the aroma. Light bodied with a thin texture. Lively carbonation and an abrupt finish. Overall, not bad. Enjoyable but nothing to seek out.

Hazy golden color, light wheaty aroma, a little sweet taste to it. Decent, not great. Cool bottle....

Cloudy straw, medium head, nice lacing. Bready citrus aroma. Fizzy, not as sweet as the aroma. With little sourness, very light, with hints of cinnamon and banana. Not bad, a little weak though.

330ml bottle served in a Weizen glass. A: Pours a slightly cloudy orange color forming a big thin bubbled white head. A filtered Weissbier, for sure. Medium retention and some small spotty lacings left in the glass S: Strong sweet grains upfront and quite fruity too. Traditional banana aroma mixed with some spices, mainly cloves. Wheat and bready in the middle followed by earthy yeasts T: Slightly sweet upfront. Sweet grains, wheat, notes of banana and cloves. Strong notes of wheat , quite bready. Very low bitterness as expected. Nice earthy yeasts in the end. In overall, a very smooth and bready beer M: Medium and creamy body. Good carbonation and a very bready aftertaste O: Very drinkable as it should. A popular Weissbier. Not bad [ BA Review @ 2/10/2013 ]
