0,5l bottle. It has dark brown color with really big head. Aroma is roasted malt, caramel and wheat. Taste is banana, wheat, caramel and yeast. Overall it is great and easy drinkable beer.

Nicer than the kristall one. Some coffee in this one. Will enjoy again if there is only falcon around.

Bottle of 500 ml, poured into a weizen glass. ABV is 5.3% Poured slowly and yet gave me a huge head, almost half of the glass was foam.Thick and soapy, beige in colour, very good retention and light lacing around the glass. Colour of the beer itself is deep brown. Light aroma of roasted malts, along with some coffee. Very faint though. Taste is quite the same, only more intense. Light bitterness, coming mainly from the roasted malts. Along with that, some light caramel and wheat. Thin to medium body, average carbonation and quite dry on the palate. Good dunkelweizen.

Aroma is a sweet malt. Taste is a sweet chocolate, with some hints of wheat. Overall a little on the sweet side, but not bad.

Pours a hazy mahogany brown with a decent sized frothy off white head. Aroma of fruity banana esthers & clove like phenols with some wheat. Taste is banana and cloves up front with spicy wheat characteristics. Then on the finish some sweet caramel, bready notes and rich Munich malts are present. Very easy drinking at the beer feels a lot lighter than it looks but very tasty as it still has a nice malt backbone.

Bottle. Opaque dark brown with a thick bubbly light brown head that leaves little lacing. Aroma is banana, cloves, a bit of dark dried fruits, light caramel and very light dark chocolate. Taste is medium sweet and little to none bitterness. Light/medium body, watery to oily texture, medium carbonation. Uninteresting.

Bottle. Pours slightly hazy dark brown with very light tan head. Faint aroma of malt and caramel. Malty, grainy and yeasty flavour with a slight touch of caramel. OK.

Good body and excellent flavour. Just what I expected from a German beer: totally strong.

Bottle - Fruit esters and sweet malts. Raisin and the like. Almost opaque dark brown with long lasting thick white head. Dark fruits, no bitterness and toasted malts. Very nice, easy drinking dark beer, maybe a bit bland.

500 ml bottle into signature weizen glass, best before 9/2013. Pours very hazy dark brown color with a nice 2 finger dense and fluffy light khaki head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice rocky cap that lasts. Spotty foamy lacing clings down the glass, with plenty of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of chocolate, caramel, banana, clove, pear, apple, brown bread, wheat, pepper, floral, and herbal earthiness. Damn nice aromas with good balance, strength, and complexity of malt and ester notes. Taste of caramel, chocolate, banana, clove, brown bread, wheat, pear, apple, floral, herbal, and yeast earthiness. No bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of caramel, banana, clove, pear, apple, chocolate, floral, brown bread, wheat, and herbal earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Very nice balance and complexity of dark malt and yeast esters, with good robustness of flavor; and zero cloying flavors present after the finish as expected. Medium-high carbonation and medium bodied; with a moderately creamy and very crisp mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with hardly any warming noticed at all after the finish. Overall this is a damn nice dunkelweizen! Very nice balance and complexity of malt and yeast ester flavors; and extremely smooth to drink. A very enjoyable well rounded example of the style.
