Erdinger Oktoberfest Weissbier has a very thick, frothy, overflowing white head, a cloudy (which gets much cloudier once the bottom contents are swished & poured in), yellow-gold appearance, fierce bubble streams, and a bit of lacing left behind. The aroma is of white wheat bread, some sweetness, and a touch of yeast. Taste is of white wheat bread, malt, some paper, a little bit of bitterness, and a syrupy sweetness. Mouthfeel is medium and soft, and Erdinger Oktoberfest finishes semi-wet, a tad alcohilic, and easy drinking. RJT

Mild and gentle. Traces of the regular weizen characteristics, albeit with less aromas and flavors. No resemblance to Oktoberfest beers. Mild, clean and highly drinkable.

"Decent interpretation of the style...no frills, and perhaps a bit on the light/thin side, but otherwise enjoyable. Bready and sweet, with a touch of noble hops and bubble gum yeast, just a little lighter than i like the style."

Bottle from backlog notes 07. Pours a cloudy golden color with a medium plus sized off white head. The aroma and flavor have pale wheat malts, citrus, a hint of sweet bubblegum, grass, caramel, mild overall and not worth revisiting.

11.2oz bottle pours a slightly hazy golden color with a thick white head that leaves good lacing. Smells of wheat, spices and butter, and caramel. Tastes of the same things in the smell with a sweet aftertaste. Mouthfeel is light and chewy with great carbonation. Overall a great example of a German Oktoberfest style beer. Light but full of flavor. Would definitely drink this again.

Pours a nice amber color with white head. Very malty on the nose with some caramel notes adding in; follows onto the palate. Finishes with more malt.

Hazy deep golden color with fluffy white head. Banana, malt and clove on the aroma. The taste is not very weizen-like, with some bitterness and a lightly fruity presence.
