Erdinger is brewed all-naturally, using traditional bottle-fermentation, never pasteurized.

Beer pours out in a light cloudy light amber-golden colour with low steady head and medium body. Aroma of wheat and bread. Taste of mild yeast, mild wheat, fruits, caramel and torf. Nice beer.

Bottle, as Erdinger Oktoberfest, Dense creamy head with some lacing, quite hazy and a little light hazy orange colour, aroma of bubblegum with a touch of spice, fruity bubblegum flavour with a medium to strong bitterness, quite a bit more then a normal hefe, medium body with almost no sourness. Nice satisfyting hefe weizen.

Keg at Bierhaus Cork. Pours a very heavy golden with a pillowy white head. Aroma of grassy caramel, biscuit, banana (kind of). Not a very strong aroma though. Mild to start on tasting, with medium sweetness afterwards, and a slightly sour touch. Fairly watery aftertaste, but a full palate. Mediocre enough, nothing to write home about.

Paliducha, sin la turbiedad característica de su tipo. Prácticamente no tiene aroma y tiene un sabor muy ligero, con una textura aguada, casi parece una lager del montón. ¿Ligero gusto metálico? Hasta la etiqueta es chunga.

Bottled from Jumbo, Santiago Pours a very hazy yellow color with some small bubbles and a big fluffy white head. Aroma is fruity and yeasty with deep notes of banana, flowers and soft hints of bitter oranges. Taste is pretty neutral, subtle and refreshing with bready touches and slight bitterness in the beginning. Watery aftertaste. Light body with a crisp texture. A very nice Hefe-Weizen but difficult to differentiate from the regular Erdinger Hefe.

11.2oz bottle - pours unfiltered straw with huge white head and modest lacing. Nose is straw and grain. Sip adds citrus notes and a general wheatiness. Light bodied. Not a playful as I would like it.

Hazy golden with a large sticky foamy head. Aroma grainy and crisp, with some sweetness, bread, and clove. Taste of fruit, clove, lots of banana in mid-palate and towards the end. Very bready, with a slightly unpleasant finish. Otherwise not a bad beer, as far as wheat beer goes.

Bottle. As Erdinger Oktoberfest. Cloudy golden-orange with a white head. Wheaty aroma with mild fruity esters, some clove and a light bready note. Wheaty flavor, sweetish, with a bit of fruitiness, mild spicy phenols, a light touch of tartness and a light citric note. Medium-bodied, nice fluffy mellow mouthfeel. Not flavorful enough, and could use some more esters, but still a decent easy-drinking Weizen.

Interesting labeling. Tastes nothing like any Oktoberfest I’ve ever had... but it definitely tastes like a hef! Golden pour from tap. Thick foam. Notes of banana and yeast.
