Hazy golden, white head. Malty sweet fruity and yeasty. Quite fruity for a lager, but really enjoyable.

StueyD (812) - Heacham, King’s Lynn, Norfolk, ENGLAND - NOV 1, 2012
A cloudy pale yellow beer with a weak white head. A faint aroma, of musty citrus fruits and spice, a tiny hint of vanilla, but none of the expected clove or tropical fruits. Medium and fizzy mouthfeel. The flavour follows on in the same vein as the aroma. There is a zesty citrus fruit that is tempered by a sweetish malt taste, that accompanies the sweet spice from the aroma. A pleasant drink but nothing like some of the great wheat beers out there.

Erdinger Oktoberferst (bottled 0,50L). Voluminous and resistant head, nice and elegant yellow hazy color, much veiled and with a beautiful bubbly aspcet. Little spiced aroma with notes of banana, citrus and malty. Little sour taste, good lively body and acidulous final.

Bottle. Really tasty beer. Slightly cloudy Amber color with a good head that lingered. Taste is toast, slight nut flavor. Aroma is a little weak but like most marzen beers.

Pours a hazy orange-amber. Aroma is quite fruity...notes of orange and peach. Flavor is much less fruity. Your basic marzen really. Drinkable in large amounts. Nothing especially flavorful. Decent.

Davros (1484) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - OCT 23, 2012
Pours amber with a large head. Nose shows some doughy wheat, lemon and soft vegetal notes. Pretty plain. Sweet flavours, with some doughy wheat, corn and cooked vegetal sweetness. Carbonation is too high. A bit disappointing.

330 ml bottle. Pours a whitish yellow with a thick, very long lasting white head. Smell is very fruity. Taste is fruity, sweetbread, yeast, pepper, mint. Not a lot of bitterness, a light bit of spicy, herbal hops. But mostly spicy. Medium, light body. Good okto-style beer, although it reminded me a lot of a strong belgian.

Bottle from King&Godfree. Not so exciting, but good for a session. Aromas of leaves, cereal, and hay. Taste is sweet, with light bitterness, and average length. Palate is velvety, and medium bodied. Darkk yellow, with a frothy head.

Bottle. Aroma has notes of wheat, yeast and citrus. Hazy light golden yellow hue with an average white head that mostly diminished and left no lace. Flavor is lightly sweet and medium bitter. Palate is light bodied with an average carbonation. Overall an average to below average Hefeweizen.
