3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured as a taster at local bottle shop. I enjoy the wheat addition to this, giving a bit of typical wheat/bready flavors.

3.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle from Fyne Wines, Argyll. Hazy lemon-gold with some effervescence but short-lived thin white head; Malty & bready aromas of almond croissant with lemon peel and cumin seed undertones; Light & oily mouthfeel, light sherbet bubbliness and a clean finish; More buttery croissant character on palate with faint banana fruitiness, orange develops briefly on the short finish. Soft flavours yet very pleasant and doesn’t allow the alcohol to overpower. Very drinkable. Maybe too drinkable?

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours hazy, cloudy, pale gold. Foamy white head. Poor retention, but decent lacing. Aroma of fresh bread dough, banana, some clove. Taste is earthy, additional banana notes and a bit of a tanginess. Light body, oily texture, soft carbonation with a crisp, lingering finish. A fairly basic and simple beer, but refreshing and well executed.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pale-body for the style, with barley and wheat notes above subtle floral citrus sweetness. Medium length but lacking in malt for the Oktoberfest style.
