by far the best o’fest on the market, very light in color, but what it lacks in color it makes up in for taste -- the perfect octoberfest

A very neat combo on Oktoberfest spices and hefeweizen. It has the unqiue spicy flavor of an okt, but with the food like smooth mouthfeel of a wheat. A beautiful flavor.

This beer is a big, malty and wheaty helles. This beer pours to a deep blonde/golden color with a huge, rocky white head, and a very lively carbonation. This beer is sedimented with yeast, so I swirl the yeast into my weiss bier glass, and the beer becomes quite cloudy. The nose on this beer is awesome. Big malt aromas mingle with big aromas of malted wheat, and balancing hop aromatics. The palate is crisp, and firm, with a touch of fruit, and tartness. This beer has good body as well, its "chunky", and thirst quenching. This beer finishes malty, and wheaty up front, then balances out with good hop presence. This beer is awsome. I’m very impressed, and its a nice change of pace from the marzen and Oktoberfest biers. Match this beer with weisswurst sausages, and hot, soft pretzels, with horseradish mustard. Seek this one out, you will fall in love with this beer, great character.

500ml bottle. Good carbonation. Cloudy orange color. Very good foam. Notes of citrus. Excellent.

First, chill thoroughly in the freezer. Then, when you pour, pour into a glass or mug half of the beer. then, swirl the rest around thoroughly, THEN pour the rest. WOW this is delicious. Yum. Salty twang of a finish with a similar, lingering aftertaste. Awesome Oktoberfest beer. POUR it right though and chill it thoroughly.

An excellent hybrid brew. Looks like a dunkelweiss, and drinks like one too. But it’s got a nice hint of fest in it that you may not notice in the first sip -- but you will notice by the end of the glass.

Dark golden color with a pillowy white head, typical looking for a hefe. Smell is grainy, sweet, and I even get a little bit of lemon. Taste immediately gives you a sweet caramel flavor, some clove, and earthy hops. Mouthfeel is full, with higher than medium carbonation. Very drinkable beer for me, I liked this a little more than expected, I wish I picked up more.

I guess its just the Hefe lover in me but this is an amazing beer. I’m not sure why its called an Oktoberfest Weizen in the US distribution? It will just confuse us Yankees.

Bottle. Hazy, with a very nice aroma. Nice, white head. Fine refreshing taste.
