COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Lovers of strong beer need not worry that ERDINGER Weissbier Pikantus 'dark bock beer' is going to be too sweet, as is the case with so many bock beers. Despite the higher alcohol content, the Erding brew masters have succeeded in retaining the special Pikantus taste.

Een mooi donkerbruin bier met cremekleurige schuimkraag. Geur van gebrande mout en caramel. Smaak van mout, hop, caramel, aardetonen. Nasmaak is hoppig bitter. Een lekkere Weizen Bock.

Poured from bottle, dark murky brown wih medium creamy head. Aroma mild with notes of banana and herbs. Taste is also mild, a lot of CO2 makes it refreshing and notes of banana, toffee and herbs lead the way to a finish with a slight bitterness. Good beer!

A delicious star in the Bavarian Weizenbock scene! It has all the flavor profiles one would come to expect from an Erdinger creation as well as all the depth and strength that is typical of the style. Smooth and not overpowering with a higher drinkability factor than other well-known Bavarian Weizenbocks. You could actually drink two!

"the last reviewer nailed this "Flavours are a little more subtle than say, Schneider Aventinus, but the same flavours are there." This brewer seems like the minor league version of the best...everything’s there, just not done quite as well. good, doughy and spicy aroma and flavor. hit the spot for the style, though it falls shy of elite."
