Cloudy, dark brown, big tan head, great looking beer, wheat, yeast, banana, dough, and light citrus aroma, flavor is malty, rich, lots of banana, wheat, yeast. Slightly astringent mouthfeel, but not overly unpleasant. Nice beer.

Aug 14, 2008 Light brown color , faint malty aroma. Nice malty flavor with alcohol nicely masked. My bottle was a little flat.

Aug 3, 2008 Bottled, TNX to DH8VV! Nice dark brown color, with red shade against light, thick quickly diminishing tan head, Nose has toffee and and roast. Aroma is sweetisch toffee, alcohol is very well hidden, Flavour is similar, well-balanced very pleasing beer!

Jul 26, 2008 Have had many a good German beer, so I was somewhat let down by this one. The fruity aroma was appealing and it forms a nice brownish colored head. The taste was average and it had to much carbination. It was similar to drinking root beer.

Jul 16, 2008 Hazy brown with a quickly disappearing large tan head. Aroma of fruit, dark malts, alcohol, dates and light banana. Taste of fruit, caramel, brown sugar, alcohol, dark malts, light chocolate and sugar. Lively carbonated body has a dry finish.

Jul 7, 2008 Deep red/brown color with a large head. Big Munich malt aroma, lots of wheat and some toasted malt. Very thick and chewy malt flavor. Definitely seemed like biting into a thick loaf of bread. Quite yeasty. A little banana. Great.
