2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle. Creamy white excellent fully lasting head. Dark yellow colour. Very week aroma, almost nothing. Week flavor and short finish. This is not a good hefeweizen.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Dissapointing, the last beers from this brewery have been dissapointing. I do not know why, it’s flavorless and aromaless, the colour was great.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Aroma is restrained and dominated by light yeasty tones and wheat. Colour is beautiful hazy orange with a huge white head and tons of carbonation. Flavour is smooth, without bitterness, deliciously refreshing and a little more flavoursome then the regular Erdinger Wheatbeer. It’s a shame it’s a seasonal since I prefer this to the regular Erdinger Wheatbeer.

Medium head upon pouring with a wheaty aroma.Slightly sick like sweetness that lingers. Not very impressive.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
A Mes rate:
50cl bottle from Bar Fringe. Standard and unimpressive hefeweisse all round. Nothing more than a slightly stronger version of their regular and equally unimpressive weisse.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottled. Orange, slightly hazy, with a large white head. Mild aroma of banana and cloves. Slightly acidic flavor of banana and spices. Fizzy and thin body and quite dry finish. (051227)

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. tastes like a stronger version of the regular, which is probably what it is. Some banana and wheat, but more wheaty, and citric than most. Some alcohol evident. Pretty smooth mouthfeel.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Why do they make x-mas weizen in Germany, that tastes of ever so little, compared to the many fine weissbiers, that tastes of so much more? I had this just before agoing to the theatre and my possitive expectations to the evenings entertainment probably influenced this rating a little. Maybe for the better or maybe I was just more focused on the play at hand, than on this beer. But no doubt about it: this beer lacks character!

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottled. Certainly is ’a pleasant change’ from the nuclear powered Xmas beers currently clogging up my cellar. As a hefe its all toned down, its led by hops rather than clove. And all the better for it. Has a sweet crunch that deserves a summertime re-rate.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a great huge head which stay’s throughout. Aroma is typicly wheaty, erdingerish. Taste is smooth and very similat to thier origional though a bit deeper. Not much of an xmas beer it has to be said as i would prefer to drink this in the summer time due to its lightness.
