3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
bottle- pours hazy orange with a fluffy white head. Creamy aroma with hints of biscuit, cloves and spice, light banana and little citrus notes. Spicy, bready taste. Refreshing spicy Weiss, overall not a bad brew much better than the regular Erdinger.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft at West Seattle Prost. Hazy dark brown pour with a big fluffy white head on it. Fairly mild banana bread aroma on it. The flavor is bready and slightly toasty, with more banana and light spicy clove notes. Hint of bubblegum. A little light and watery for the style, but still very pleasant.

Huge offwhite lasting head. Hazy orange body. Fruity chalky earthy aroma. Chalky fruity earthy taste with herbal ashy notes. Mild mouthfeel. Fullish body. Mild milky ashy aftertaste with some sweetness. Not much taste. (0.5l bottle, wine monopoly.)

Bottle in Alpbach, Germany. Orange and gold body with large head. Nose of malts and wheat. Flavour of fruits, including bananas and medicinal. More fruits and malts kick in later. A dry finish. Nice.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
I pour this one with ease, creating the traditionally desired weizen "one-finger-above-the-rim"-head, the dense crown of a good-looking light orange hazy body. Damn this smells good; rich fragrance of buns straight out of the oven, some clove and vague banana hints in the back. I take a sip. A lively palate bustles in my mouth, spreading an equivalent volley of taste around: some bread, some clove and some banana, but in a very mild blend. Could have hoped for some more of everything here, but on the other hand the delicious palate and refreshing taste makes for a very drinkable beer. A total thirst-quencher; can’t wait to enjoy this on my front lawn come summer. Perhaps not outstanding in the world of weizen, but a very good brew in my opinion.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle, bought @ Riepen, Flensburg.
Lovely looking. Deep golden, light haze. Big, frothy, off-white head that stays for quite some time. Sweet malty aroma, light banana, wheat, grassy hops. Adding the yeast to my glass doesn’t add that much. Highish carbonation, fine grainy and light dry mouthfeel. Flavour has a hint of metal, but also good bite in the grainy, sweet wheat. Fair, light banana, some apple and fair, hoppy dryness in the end. Okay hefe.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
0.5 L bottle from bestillingsutvalget Vinmonopolet. Big and airy, shiny blond head. Foggy orangey-golden body. Soft wheat aroma. Fine fruitiness, sweet lemon, faint banana and some herbal notes. Taste is acidulous-sweet and fruity, with lemon in the lead, and a tone of banana, perfume, yeast and cloves. Subdued wheat flavor. Light to medium body. Slick, almost soapy in the mouth. Dry, spiced and fruity finish. Very likeable.
