Un genial aroma, dentro de lo habitual de las de trigo pero algo más intenso y especiado, perfecto equilibrio de frutas y levadura. Genera menos espuma de la que esperaba. El aspecto es turbio y se pueden apreciar sedimentos. El cuerpo es más ligero de lo que puede parecer, aún así se mantiene consistente. El sabor no es muy distinto al de sus competidoras, si bien destaca un regusto semiamargo prolongado. Por el mismo precio, la antepongo con creces a la Erdinger normal.

Craft Erdinger. Quite sour with plenty of aftertaste. Reminds me of some of the best craft wheat beers I have enjoyed. Great to see something like this come from a macro brewer. Bought as part of an Erdinger special sampler at Bevmo but not available on the shelves.

Clove wheat malt. Cloudy orange amber color with small head. Primarily clove and wheat malt flavor with a hint of banana.

Bottle from local Irma, Copenhagen - 500ml bottle - Pours a hazy gold colour, with a medium white head. Fruity character with peach, banana, on the palate, with nice malty sweetness. Decent enough.

Serving: from bottle--purchased at Allendörfer.
Aroma: light, banana aroma.
Appearance: average-sized, frothy, off-white, initial head with no lacing and fully diminishing longevity. Cloudy, light-amber body.
Taste: lightly sour, lemony initial flavor and lightly sour, banana-like finish with long duration.
Palate: light body, watery texture and fizzy carbonation.
Overall: very good.

On draught at Airbrau, Munich Airport. Pours hazy with pronounced head. More tart than Erdinger’s regular weissbier and poorer for it. Decent wheat beer though.

Appearance: Hazy golden color with a frothy big white head that leaves a lovely lacing.
Aroma: Fresh wheat, yeast and banana.
Palate: Medium pluss body. A bit sweet and a mild bitterness. Average carbonation.
Taste: Fruity, wheat, banana and yeast.
Overall impression: I tried with and without bottom sediments, but did not notice any bid difference. More full body with the sediments. Nice and tasty hefe weisse.

Bottle. Cloudy orange color with a nice big frothy off-white head. Pleasant estery aroma full of banana, spicy notes and some citric hints. Sweetish wheaty flavor with fruity esters, a bit of refeshing tartness and a slightly spicy finish. Good fluffy well-carbonated Weizen mouthfeel. A very good Hefeweizen, so much better than Erdinger’s crappy regular Weissbier.
