Had this beer in Germany. This was the beer that made me start to appreciate wheat beers. It could have just been the surroundings too.

Smells grassy and spruce. Pours murky yellow with a thin white head. I don’t normally like hefeweizen but this is delicious! Grassy and sweet but not an overpowering sweetness. Nice and fizzy.

Had this wheat beer in Germany on tap at several places. For a wheat beer it was good. This was Erik’s favorite beer.

Pours cloudy, lemon yellow. Lots of white head with small bubbles. Little aroma. Banana, gains in flavor. Dissonant, almost foul, note on the finish.

Tall head with good lazing. Pale, cloudy color. Smells banana and wheat. Little fruity. Good sweet taste, not bitter. Refreshing and easy to drink. Typical whitebeer but nice!

Nice pale, cloudy yellow color. Good head. Scents of citrus, plenty of banana and clove in the taste.

Serving: from bottle--purchased at Allendörfer. Aroma: light, banana aroma. Appearance: huge, frothy white, initial head with excellent lacing and mostly diminishing longevity. Cloudy, dark-yellow body with large body particles. Taste: lightly citrusy sour, initial flavor and finish with short duration. Palate: light body, oily texture and lively carbonation. Overall: appearance was excellent, but flavor was nothing out of the ordinary. Still it is a good and very refreshing beer.

Awesome head and great yeasty taste. The wheat is also definately in there. Aroma has no complexity, but is certainly not unpleasant. A nice little extra is their half litre glasses.
