In the glass it has a hazy yellow color with a medium head. Aroma is yeast along with some wheat. Taste has a mild bitterness with a mild hoppiness. Also a touch of lemon. Good finish.

Pale straw colour, with a finger and a half of white head. Steady, moderate carbonation bubbles are visible. It looks gorgeous in the official tower glass. Everything going on is pretty light, from the aromas, to the mouthfeel, to the tastes. There is very mild banana, cloves and black pepper on the nose and tongue. Years ago, this was my favourite wheat beer, but having this first one I’ve had in a long while, I realize I’ve had many over the years that have surpassed it. Still drinkable though.

Bottle. Slightly hazy, yellow color, foamy white head. Spicy nose, spices and dominating yeast. Sweet taste, light sour, low bitterness. Medium mouthfeel, fresh carbonation. Bready, cereal aftertaste. Too sweet, too sour, and too little banana aromas.

If you’re looking for an authentic German wheat beer flavor, this ain’t it. it totally lacks any traditional banana and clove flavors that German wheat beers are known for. Even the wheat flavor is understated. This is really more like an American style wheat beer with it’s neutral yeast flavor. Probably the worst German beer that I ever experienced.

50 cl bottle from Roto dinamic, served in a snifter. Murky amber mit Hefe, with large, thick, long-lasting white head. Aroma is grainy, citrus, banana, bubblegum, clove, grass. Medium body, medium carbonation. Taste is mild and subtle, with low, but well balanced sweetness and bitterness. Absolutely without astringency, flawless.

16.9oz bottle best by tomorrow or sometime before Halloween 2015 - Nose is grass, bubblegum, and faint banana, uh oh. nope. I’ve been looking for good and new German Hefe-Weizens lately and this is not doing it. Reminds me of a Berliner Weisse with some sweetness. Easy to drink, but the flavors are not what I expect. I get adjunct corn and I know it’s not in the ingredients. Maybe one that is fresher will be better.

A beautiful wheat beer as can only be found from Bavaria. It’s a classic with a long history and tradition. 500ml into a tall glass, beautiful, with a big head that brings the flavour to your nose before you even taste it. Long palate, delicious and well balanced. Perfect for a summer afternoon.
