In the glass it has a hazy yellow color with a medium head. Aroma is yeast along with some wheat. Taste has a mild bitterness with a mild hoppiness. Also a touch of lemon. Good finish.

Draft at Oktoberfest Zinzinnati. Standard hefeweizen. I’ve had this before but guess I haven’t rated it, let’s see what Superspak has to say: " 500 ml bottle into signature weizen glass, best before 3/2013. Pours hazy golden amber color with a nice 2-3 finger fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Spotty foamy lacing clings to the glass. Aromas of orange zest, banana, pepper, clove, apricot, wheat, earth, and yeast spiciness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance. Taste of banana, pear, wheat, pepper, clove, earth, bread, and yeast spiciness. Lingering notes of wheat, pepper, pear, banana, clove, earth, and yeast spices on the finish for a short bit. Flavors are well balanced with decent complexity; a bit on the watery side, but good. High carbonation and light-medium body; with a lightly creamy and very crisp and prickly mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is well hidden with zero warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is a good Hefeweizen. A bit watery, but the flavors are nicely balanced; and this is extremely easy and refreshing to drink. I did enjoy it."

A little bit of body but almost no taste. Spritzy carbonation and a light tartness in the finish. May be the most famous Hefeweizen on the market, but it is far from the best

Pours clear, turning hazy with the addition of yeast. Fluffy, white head. Aroma of banana, orange, clove, slighty yeasty. Round mouthfeel and low bitterness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Yeasty aroma. Quite bubbly. Very hazy and cloudy appearance. Looks like liquid honey. String and spicy on the throat ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Cloudy pale orange, with a large white head. The aroma is tame, with hefe yeast, some clove, some banana. The flavour is similar--it’s more subdued than many other, better hefeweizens. The palate is extremely lively. I like it, but it doesn’t come close to Schneider or Weihenstephan.

Pour hazy bright yellow, with a two fingered fluffy white head. Aroma has slightly banana, some faint citrus, some grass. Taste has faint sweetness up front, but is prominant bitter. Watery body, with a somewhat flat carbonation. @rasmussott, kan du gætte af hvem jeg fik den?

Appearance: Pours a murky golden colour with two fingers of fluffy white head that gradually fades. Aromas: Yeast, wheat, grass. Flavours: Wheat, cloves, biscuit, banana and hints of citrus. Mouthfeel: Thin with lots of carbonation. Overall: An alright wheat beer but not one of my favourites.

Bottle from a local supermarket!
Surprisingly, I did not yet rate this famous german Hefeweizen. Pours beautiful orange-yellow with high, white head. Smell has sweet yeast, grains and some spices. Starts with lots of sweet yeast, some grains, spices and floral hops. Goes into a sweet and spicy yeasty finish with some grainy notes. Overall a solid german Hefeweizen!
